Interest rates, MF, residuals?

For those who have financed your new G80/G82 what kind of interest rates and terms are you seeing?

For those who have leased, what residual values and money factor was on your worksheet?

Thanks!

Not sure about the residual numbers yet but I heard the lease MF went from .86 to .93 so that's not a positive change! I locked in last month. Hoping the residual jumps up a point.

BMWFS rates just went from 1.9% down to 0.9% for me today. Seems to be region dependent as I'd seen others in the country on here that had 0.9% last month. I don't think you'll find anything better than that from a bank or CU.

Based on leasehackr forums. All is the same except for MF increase.

I locked in March but delivery won't be until July. I hope for a residual bump by then.

Damn, that sucks, when I bought it was at 1.9%, they must have just lowered it in the last few weeks.

This thread is exactly what I'm looking for as I just asked my CA about rates and all since my car is done being built. I did notice as well that finance rates on BMW U.S. was down from 1.9 to .9 as snareman said. I was considering lease but if the money factor went up and residual stays the same I will probably just buy it. .9 is pretty solid for a new M.

There is this thread though which has been going for awhile. Wouldn't surprise me if the mods eventually merge this into that.

Ah nuts, I looked through that and didn't see any current MF numbers. I'll revert back to that thread. Thanks!

Did you put anything down for a cap cost reduction?

Is the interest rate between traditional and select financing with BMWFS the same? I was told last month that the select financing rate is different than traditional (2.9 vs 1.9 last month). Or is this just a line of BS from the dealership?

Depends on the market, but Select and Traditional both went from 1.9 to 0.9 in my zip code.

Just checked and when showing traditional and select financing on the configurator it does give me the 0.9% rate.

I'm assuming it would be too early for me to lock in this rate though given that my build week isn't even until mid-May which means I likely won't be signing any financing papers until late June or early to mid-July?

BMW will generally lock you in for 60 days east coast, 90 days west coast... I'm not sure where the line between the two lies. I've been in situations where the car didn't quick make it for that 60 day window and BMW had no problem extending it. Talk to your dealer and see what they say. If you have an order in, with a production number and all, I tend to think they will hold your terms. You appear to be a long time customer so they won't want to upset the apple cart too much!

.9%???? Waiting on my allocation for my Order, and now I'm glad I had to wait. I was still considering leasing the car at 1.9% (but was leaning towards a purchase), though now at .9%, it's a done deal. Like Lucky, I'm just going to buy it. Then I don't have to worry about the miles, and can modify exactly how I want. Road trips galore are in my future.

Yeah, it's hard to argue with 0.9. I am in for a lease and the money factor actually went the wrong way but I'm locked into the better MF. Residual didn't change at all... it may do so in May or June, (June delivery). But I'll have to consider the purchase option again.

So from what it reads, purchase > leasing as of 4/1?
