Does anyone know when AWD allocations will be available for a special order?

July rumor has it, dealers are still taking deposits though so as soon as official allocations open, they will place those orders.

Yeah it's kinda crazy in SoCal. I got mine for MSRP and that's with buying 3 prior BMW from the dealership.

Anything short of a history buying multiple fleets of 760LI's is going to get you special treatment at a SoCal BMW dealership on a hot new car.

Its really not that hard. We have so many dealers in SoCal. If one of them has a car you like, you CALL them and tell them you want it at 5-7% off and you will take it right then. If they give you line about getting MSRP or more for it, tell them they are wasting your time and hang up. Then call the next one. Within a few calls, you will have your 5-7% off MSRP. And if that doesnt work. Then hold your ground until they all get off the crack pipe. Because the M3/M4 isnt THAT rare of a car for them to ask for anything more than MSRP.

Good luck buying people! Demand something off MSRP!

100% agree. Just keep calling, inside and outside your state if necessary. You can always ship it home if need be.

It’s 2021... just email the internet sales managers to X number of dealers all on BCC with one email and see who bites. Or reach out to a broker and let them do your dirty work... seems to work for some on here.

The real question is why would anyone buy an all-wheel drive sports car in SoCal.

Because when it DOES rain, people don’t know how to drive in rain.

That just means you'll be surrounded by people who don't know how to drive regardless of what you drive 🤣

You ever driven a high horse powered AWD car before? I feel if you have, you would not ask that question

I highly doubt anyone waiting for the AWD model is doing that for rain days? It's to put down all the power! Especially once they start to tune them.

I'm a BMW traditionalist so AWD is kind of heresy. It's nice you can set it to 100% RWD though.

None of those are/were BMW M cars.

But yeah, sure, it's great that AWD is now an option.
Other than the grilles I am a G80 fan.

All I can promise on this forum is volume, not quality or consistency.
