my local Toyota has 4-5 launch editions still. I looked at one out of curiosity, getting in/out I hit my head. I'm only 5'8" ~150lbs so not big either I couldn't imagine living with that roofline

I happened across this. The msrp is 44k for this car. The dealer marked it up 20k. So 64k for a Honda civic. Car dealers are getting out of control.

$3-5K over the RWD is their estimate. I'm not worried since my car is $93K as a RWD so it would still be under $100K with AWD. it's cheaper than my current X5 stickered for

I hear you. I just don't think people who are in the position of Money not an issue aren't looking at an M3/4. I know I wouldn't be. LOL.

realistically I know places will sell at MSRP or just under. That's why I'm buying from one on the East Coast vs TX where I live.

they still make plenty of money at sticker. BMW mark up is generally 6-7% of MSRP, on my X5 it was 6.7%. Dealers will always try to get money while they can because some fool will pay it. If no one paid mark up they'd have no choice but to reduce the price or remove the 'market adjustment'
