Opf delete engine light without ecu??

Hello,

Im going to upgrade my exhaust with Akrapovic Evolution line in 1 month and i need help with Solutions how to resolve engine light that will be for sure ON when i cut the OPFs.
What is the best solution to resolve this problem without touching the ECU?

I need help, what i should look at it and what you think works 100% (again without touching the ECU)

Thanks

Hello mate,
For sure, there would be "drive train malfunction" error and limp mode, if you remove opfs and dont install the delete cables.

If you install the OPF cables, you wont get limp mode which is the main thing.

I am almost certain you wont get a check engine light unless you floor the throttle.

If I were you, i would install the exhaust and only the opf/gpf delete cables.

However, if you eventually get Check engine light later on, you can try reset the opf/gpf via ISTA+.

If you still get the light after resetting the opf, you will probably need the LEIB CAN MIL Deleter which will be the permanent fix.

If you are thinking of getting an exhaust valve flap controller but also want to upgrade to high flow CATs and want no check engine light with both catless/high flow downpipes and opfs, then get the LEIB CAN exhaust Pro.
