Arrow Which wheels and brakes do you like with Enzian Blue?

I wanted Laguna Seca, but it's "no longer available". After much deliberation and internet searching I decided to go with Gentian/Enzian (English/German) blue. I'm debating on wheels and brakes. What's your vote and why? I like the idea of the red calipers, but not sure if they are out of place with the blue. I think I like the brighter color of the 825M bi-colors.

first of all:
amazing color choice !

i would go with the red caliper.
Wheels is totally a question of taste...i really like the 826, but the 825 are more subtle and classy.
So up to you but either way I would take bicolor with this blue

Yeah, I have waffled back and forth between 825 and 826. I just wish I could see the car color and the wheels in person to know for sure. Best you can do with all this stuff is educated guess based on theoretically correct looking Internet pictures and then hope it looks good when you finally see it in person.

Go for the red calipers they are just a hint of red and are only picked up by those looking at the car in detail which makes for a subtle touch.

No more Laguna Seca? Was hoping to go with that next year. Assuming you didn't get more info from your CA?

I like the look of booth wheels with your color choice. 825 is more unique while 826 is apparently the better performance option. I’d personally go with 826, it looks to be an amazing wheel for the price when optioned from the factory and an opportunity hard to miss out on.

Caliper color is difficult, red could work but the risk of the Superman curse is obvious

I'm curious why would the 826 be the "better performance option"? I don't recall reading anything about it being lighter weight or anything to make it better than the 825

They all look good but #3 to me looks the best as I feel like the 826M have a premium aftermarket wheel look

The wheel guy in the tire/rims explained video says that it is the best performance option He mention lightness as one reason.

I actually usually hate aftermarket wheels because they always look aftermarket. The 826's are still great looking wheels though. I've gone back and forth between the 2.

Everytime I see the 825's in a video they just seem to pop and have a unique premium sporty look. Hopefully they look as good in person. The car will never see the track so I'm not really concerned about the lighter weight performance benefit of the 826's.

Maybe it will be back by next year? I have no idea how these things work and why I can't have it if I'm willing to pay for it since it's obviously already a color they have worked out. No one else seems to have a clue how it all works either. The word back to him from BMW was:

"Unfortunately, Laguna Seca Blue is no longer available. I can offer Santorini Blue (327), Gentian Blue (W37), Pure Blue (W87) or Voodoo Blue (P7L) as alternatives. Pricing is $4,500 and will require two additional weeks lead time."

I decided on the red with that small splash of color reasoning.

The 825M does look very good on the blue car in the tire, rim video. The black calipers used there looks better than red would IMO.

However when the 825M lies next to the 826Ms in the same video for me the 826M look a lot more premium. You can’t go wrong though, just great or greater kind of choice.

I agree - both great choices. I've vacillated a bunch between them

Very nice choice of color, sir.

Personally, I always like a bit of contrast on the vehicle. I would vote for the red calipers and grey orbit wheels.
