Every thread seems to get hijacked by people STILL complaining about the front...just stop posting

The colors look sweet. I'll be submitting a request for one, not sure which, when I put my order in.

Looks like Macao blue from the E30 M3 Cecotto and F80 30 year edition. I like it!

I don't think the grill hate will ever end.

Maybe we should just accept that the negative comments are inevitable.

...and it would be understandable if they were asked "what do you think?" ...nope, they just feel compelled to express how much they dislike it. Why join with a membership on a forum to just complain?

Would have been much better to see the colours if they were outdoor shots in daylight and night.

The question is more why they didn't call it Rosso Corsa to begin with. The paint code is different as well, suggesting that it may not be the exact same color. BMW Ferrari Red is U90/3 and Rosso Corsa is 322. So, yeah, I don't know.

In my opinion Cinnabar Red will be nearly impossible to get at the moment, since it was used as one-of on the KITHs M4.

Small correction:
undetermined red is either aventurine red or rubin red
frozen dark grey is frozen deep grey as it is the M4 (Frozen DARK Grey is M3 exclusive, M4 has frozen deep grey). Don't ask about the difference, I don't know
Ahh I miss my Santorini blue e92 m3 so bad!!

I don't see Frozen black on the US website, is there another way to order it?

So the blue I like the best on the site is Santorini Blue. I have been leaning heavily towards Voodoo blue as my color I will be ordering and now I have a question.
does anyone have any descriptors to explain the difference between Santorini blue vs Voodoo blue? is one more bright? have more green? darker or lighter? They seem to look really close on some of my searches but wanted to see if its just my monitor.

thoughts?

Yeah I'm in the same blue conundrum as you. I'm leaning towards Voodoo for my M3, but that video has pulled me into looking at Santorini as well.
Also for me Gentian/Enzian is in the mix. A forum member is getting a G82 in that color (snareman) and I can't wait to see pics of it.

Using BMW's Individualizer site, they have pictures of the paint chips of each color and Voodoo looks to be slightly brighter/lighter than Santorini, I think? But IF those pictures where taken under different lighting, then that throws the comparison off, so who knows. Also indoor lighting is different than outdoor where the car will be seen the most. There are too many variables when trying to compare colors on a computer screen, my brain is pretzeled now just thinking about it.

Yeah. It's photo like that that make me want voodoo a ton.
Santorini looks good on the Chip but the visualizer makes it look dirty gray blue.
Until I decide to give myself another headache it's still looking like voodoo.

I’m ordering my car (M3 6MT) tomorrow and I’m still in vapor lock on the color. Leaning toward several of the blues but man, Rosso Corsa looks wicked.

Frozen Dark Grey for the M3, Frozen Deep Grey on the M4.

The Frozen Deep Grey is a lot darker and far less impressive. Frozen Dark Grey was a top choice for me when I order in July but if I can't get it on an M4, I'll pass. I don't understand why they can't just use the same paint for both.

it should, but as we have never seen frozen deep grey (at least i didn't find any pictues) it's hard to say.
In the official price guide it is stated, you see it also in the visualizer.

*edit*
here compared in the visualizer.
deep grey seems a slight tone lighter imo.
These are the updated pictures. I think those might be old ones.
