I told my dealer that I know someone that ordered a manual M3 before me but will get it apparently after. He visited the factory a few times and told me that they do the M cars in "batches", so for example 1 week one then the other. So he said, depending on the demand, they may decide to continue with one shift, before moving to the other and changing production cycle. So he thinks that may be the reason, why some get the cars earlier than others, but just an asumption..

Sure, we can make something out, I'm probably not around your region, but I anyways will have to to some driving at the beginning

My dealer also told me it may be possible that I get my delievery earlier. But for me end of april is totally fine...so I have still plenty of time to make a final decision on the color

You can ask your dealer, but in your case it doesn't matter because once it starts production it takes about 2 weeks to finish!

Best to call BMW Genius. But your in production phase now, so this week should be your build week IMO. When you call ask when is the finish date. My completion date is by feb 21st, hence build week 7. We have similar build, where in FL you at? Might have to swing by your dealer to check out haha.
