My production is scheduled for mid May and I have been given a range of end of July to early August for PCD. I'm still waiting for the confirmed date.

So I was originally scheduled to go into production on May 17, but whenever I called the automated BMW Genius line they said "scheduled for production with no production date confirmed". I was thinking of making a change to my order and texted my CA who told me I just went in production. He claims that Performance Center production is sometimes accelerated/give priority. Don't know if that's true or not, but wanted to pass that along because I wound up 5 weeks ahead of my originally estimated production date. I saw that others were also getting their production accelerated, so maybe has nothing to do with PDC delivery.

I'm dubious of that idea.

As much as I had mine theoretically scheduled for 5/12 I got the official confirmation email from them today!!

I’m being told 8-12 weeks after production ends. I’m scheduled for prod to be complete May 2. Dealer telling me earliest PCD will be mid July. I hope earlier but not optimistic.

My car was done 3/29 with my PCD scheduled for 5/12 so hopefully you can get it sooner. I'd think 4-6 weeks would seem more reasonable. They just have to get the car over here and down there which seems to take around a month. My car is still listed as "at the port" in Baltimore since 4/11.

Mine was done on 3/12 and my PCD is 5/28. They said that was the earliest possible date which is basically 8 weeks exactly. Been at the port since 4/16

Yea that seems to be the earliest they are scheduling is 8 weeks after production completed. I don’t expect to be approved for a date before mid July.

I called and tried to get mine moved up a week or two since it was already in the country, but they told me that they don't get many cars from Baltimore and that after they get it it takes them a week or so to get it detailed and programmed, etc. Whatever all needs done. So they told me that 5/12 was the soonest.

What colors are the M's they have for you to drive? They were all the 3 M colors last time I did it.

Did you get to do a factory tour? It was close for X7 retooling when I was there a few years ago. What time did you finish? I'm going to drive to Knoxville that evening
