The car officially left the port and was told that it should be arriving in California by May 7th! I'm guessing an additional 1-2 weeks before I can actually pick up the car.

Your biggest variable right now is getting on a ship. Ship capacity is in short supply. Once it's on a ship, your timeline becomes less variable.

I agree. I'm hoping it arrives in May but I wouldn't be surprised if I took delivery in June.

My M3 Comp has virtually the same build time line as yours and changed to "at the port" today. I guess the key for us is a quick ship assignment if there is any hope for a May delivery.

I'm also in San Francisco, My car got to the port 3/18 and got onto a ship 3/25. There seem to be 2 choices for carriers to the west coast now: WWL and NYK. WWL ships mostly make 2 more stops, one in Sweden and one in Baltimore, and take about 31-32 days. NYK ships seem to take 27-28 days and go directly from Southampton, UK, to Panama Canal. They make one extra stop in Long Beach. Mine (NYK, Gentle Leader) is scheduled to get to Port Hueneme 4/21 or 4/22, but there is no tracking available from ship tracking sites between UK and Panama Canal until it gets to Haiti. Now it is in a black hole

I agree - rate limiting step is time spent at port. Mine was there 6 days, but someone on here had theirs sit for 3 weeks. BMW has said they have a current backlog in shipping. There can be some variable time when it gets to port here as well. Hopefully you won't get stuck in either too long.

Yours went through a little faster than mine did at least from the time they got your order.

Yup I'm in the same boat as you no pun intended. I've been in that state since 4-1. I talked to my Salesman yesterday and he still anticipates no longer than another 3 to 4 weeks at most and I'll have the car but I have my doubts as many have said it looks like there are delays happening.

A factory rep heard you wanted the PS4S rather than Pirellis, so is doing a massive burnout all the way from the factory to the port so the tires have to be replaced when it goes through post shipping inspection

I think we'll be able to pick up our cars in May, worst case scenario first week of June. My BMW rep told me that there's a chance it arrives at the end of April but I doubt it.

Mine has been sitting at the Port in Germany for 10 days now. Things must be backed up

Mine got to the Port quickly but has been sitting there for 10 days. It's gonna be long wait I have the feeling.

Mine sat at Dispatched from Factory (before Arriving at Port) for over a month. Then it sat for less than 24 hours "at port" before getting on a ship and embarking same day.
