That new M4 is so fast.

After I test drove it did wonder if my M2 CS still had a turbo when I got back into it.

I still prefer the CS but anyone that gets one of these. Great choice. It's a bruising cruiser. I really love it. Plus I think it looks amazing.

It is fast , as expected ! Especially the xdrive version that will arrive in a few months. The M2 CS is a different car so you cant really compare them.

If the rear wheel version is winning drag races again RS5 Quattro, what would the xdrive version do?

As I have been saying for months as an X3M owner; the S58 is a monster. 11.6 seconds from a RWD car on a damp track is very impressive. It's clearly packing more heat than the competition as once traction was taken out of the equation it pulled from the Audi and MB with ease. The xDrive versions will probably be able to give the M5 a run for its money.

I have an X3M, going to wait for the AWD on this monster to order ... it's gross fast on all levels.

Well it's looks like history is repeating itself. The M340 walks the C43 and S4/S5. I would say I'm not surprised, curious to see how it will perform against the upcoming C63s that will have 543hp and a overdrive mode 643hp for 10 seconds. I'll place bets on the M3/4

It should be close. I think the Merc will weigh at least 300lbs more, or as much as 500lbs.

Let's see what they do to save weight those electric motors do add a lot of weight, 300-500 does sound about right I would be surprised if it is 4000 lbs

current car is basically 4k lbs already... save some weight from V8 to I4, add it back and some via all the PHEV and AWD gear... i think 4500lb would be a nice target for AMG to beat on this.

by the time reviews are out for this "C63e" ... LCI G8X should be out also? As would the next RS5 hopefully... this next few years will be interesting!

The new bloated hybrid C63e with all its fancy schmancy F1 technology will easily cost over 100k, so who really cares...

All of us should be. This is the direction the industry is heading. If they can do good things with this kind of setup, it means better innovation, better competition, and more smiles per miles for everyone. These cars are always overpriced compared to BMW anyways, so that's a moot point.

I personally think BMW will make a better hybrid performance car though...when it arrives
