Why wouldn't BMW allow LSB? Plenty of LSB E9X and F8X were built.

What somebody else said earlier in this thread makes sense to me. They are likely keeping LSB for a special edition or for something like a CS.

I don't believe they allowed LSB on the E9X or F9X generations at first either. Seems like they always loosen up the reigns on what individual colors can be selected as the model years progress.

There are a pretty small number of individual colors that end up being 1 of 1 or 1 of 10 or less in a single generation. Seems silly to hide what color they picked until it arrives, but to each their own. 🤷🏻

And I don't think it's like people are going to say - wow that color is amazing! Let me jump on that bandwagon and make there be now maybe 10 of that color out of the 276 million cars in the US. Stand on the top of a Bimmerpost mountain and shout the color out loud so people can be excited with you and for you about it. God knows I've blabbed about my upcoming Enzian car enough.

Although my paint has been approved (Mexico Blue), my dealership is finding it difficult to spec Polar Ice stitching on my regular black sports seats. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! We need to get a BMW Blue meeting together!

That sounds like a great color combo with the stitching. I didn't know that was an option. it would seem like its either something BMW would approve or not though. I'd think he'd be able to get a yes or no from them?

What kind of contrast stitching colors can you get and what is the $ up charge?

You can get any color they are willing to approve.

I wish I could locate it again but I remember a post back on the F8x forums that detailed the costs of doing an individual interior. It can add up quickly!

The interior options are so much better (and wilder) this time that I have a feeling individual stitching is not going to be as sought after an option.

I'm thinking the same thing. It really does seem like they've really started paying attention to what the individual orders were doing and now include some of those aspects as normal options.

I'm sure within the next year or two though we'll start to see some truly individual interiors popping up, especially as they start loosening up the reigns on what they are willing to approve for production.
