Take a look at maximum horsepower and torque gauges...German engineers maybe leaving us a hint at the true power of this automobile.

This is very interesting as this is the HP and torque display for my 2021 XM5 comp which is 617 hp. Can't wait for you to floor it!! OP do you have a base or comp M4?

They read higher than clamed output but will not reach all the way up.

Just as I suspected...dynamometer tests are showing the G82 Comp could have as much as 550 plus horsepower!!

Is there a setup for the display where the RPM is more front and center? Or is it always off to the side?

There are two and three M modes (if you get m drive pro)which change the dash from a lot of info to just the necessities. So... Yes.
