Switching from Racechip to JB4
Hello guys,
Have a jb4 coming in soon, I've seen a lot more consistency with it. But i was wondering i have downpipes also on the way, i am going to put new spark plugs in, put it in Map 3 and fill E30. Does anyone with jb4 experience know if this will be okay? Please let me know

The jb4 is more aggressive than the Racechip, with a lot more features and flexibility.
you will be okay with the downpipe, but the Jb4 will not hide the code

Unless its catted downpipes then should not throw an O2 sensor code.

What makes a good product good is its consistency to work, and the racechip for me was one of the most inconsistent thing I've ever seen. Sometimes it's work, other times it would fall flat on its face. Jb4 is producing better results, data, numbers. Also has more play room if i wanted to do an e85 tune, race gas tune, more variables to mess with. Just depends the quality you want.

I think I'm going that way as well. Unfortunately I think JB4 support has gone down hill over the years, but the product was awesome back in 2011/12 whenI had my N54 ride. I also don't like how we have to run the OBD cable, but what can ya do.
Good luck! Looking forward to your experience. Any chance you have a 6 speed?

I dont think theres any issues with stock turbos and fuel injection system. Possibly in the higher maps without proper fuel

without it, the Jb4 will act as a stage 1 similar to the other piggybacks on the market
