The branding is completely lost on me (hadn't even heard of KITH until this collaboration was announced) but I definitely appreciate some of the details on the build. New fashion houses like Kith follow modern top tier designers like Virgil Abloh who's probably the godfather of collabs & minor tweaks on classic styles to make hella hype out of everything. Hype aside, I always like the storytelling part and how small details become the inspiration of great products.

This collab really nails it with storytelling and mingling the heritage and the up-and-coming. BMW has made a great step to win new generation heavy spenders with all these collabs with popular designers & artists. Last year with Kith/RF. This year with Joshua Vides.

Also, brands have always shared their clients and customers with cobranding & collabs much faster than other marketing tactics, like banks + airlines/hotels cobranded credit cards. I'm glad BMW takes hella advantages out of it.

I lived in VA for many many years, never ran a front plate. It's worth the ticket. I got pulled over numerous times and was never once questioned about the no front plate. It destroys the look of the front of the car, especially in this configuration.

I get what you're saying, but if the brand matters to you, it's a nice spec.

Have you counted how many M badges are on a car? You're already driving a big ad for BMW anyway.

No, only G82, but his original E30 was fully rebuilt by BMW.

I got the rho plate tow hook kit and it's an easy 10-sec putting on/off work. Just forgot to take it off for the pictures

Damn looks insane! The KITH carbon roof and those KITH stitching on the seats alone is worth it for this car! Wish it came in m3 though

Yea wish the same cuz I like G80 more. I like how the logo roof is so low key unlike in the ads!
