Sorry but do you have a closer pic? Do you think it’s worth it to install alone? I guess I should probably do a grille swap like you too since the bumper has to come off.

Was this necessary to fit the comp? I noticed description says without competition.

Are these already installed on any version of the M3 / M4? I’ve never really seen bmw release a part like this that wouldn’t be already installed unless it was in an accessories catalog. Seems weird they would sell anything requiring zip ties to affix. Anyone have more info?

The radiator has thin wall tubes from folded sheet metal and tend to fracture easy. The oil coolers, CAC’s, Condenser all have extruded tubes with are much thicker. Very hard to puncture an extruded tube, it just flattens and get a little tougher (work hardening).
One summer I was an intern at Ford and had to shoot frozen bugs and rocks at heat exchangers for durability and performance testing. We used a gravelometer, same thing they use for paint chip testing on bumpers. |

You just have to figure out how to attach it. Mostly I see people simply zip tying it on. I'm pretty sure that's what my shop did for mine.
