Correct. The matchup is with the Z06, not the 3RS.

What I'm surprised about was BMW not putting a set of regular Cup2 on. The car doesn't come with the PS4 so they already deviated from the OEM configuration. Why drop down to the OEM M4 tire, just because you have them laying around? It sucks either way because now the car is represented in the way it should be.
That is incorrect. The CSL can be optioned from the factory either with PS4S or PSC2R. The PSC2 are the ones not offered on the CSL.

Thanks, I didn't know they offered both options. I guess I should of assumed they did. It's not like the Z06 doesn't do the same thing.

I agree, it is completely lame that they did not test all 3 cars with their track oriented tire options. Just opens up a pandora box of futile argumentation.

What a bizarre comment. It’s a limited edition, fun, fast car that can be enjoyed on track. Mine will get to see a track and it won’t be tuned either. It’s an absolutely brilliant car exactly as it is. Are there faster cars than it in a straight line? Sure and faster cars on track too, but that doesn’t make the CSL anything other than an absolutely sensational car to drive. I use mine all the time and every time I go out it feels special both from the drive itself to the positive way people react to it (which I wasn’t expecting at all).

Glad you are enjoying it and using it the way you are. . Never said it’s not great. It’s not a bizarre comment. It’s what all the M car nut swingers bring up when they lose. Lol. I’ve had 4 M cars so far. I’ve liked them all. My biggest gripe with them lately is how they sound, which is fucking awful. It’s ridiculous that people are spending 90 grand on a sports car and that’s what they sound like. 🤢🤮🤢🤮. Keep driving yours like
You stole it bud.

There’s simply no point in saying that x is faster than y. There’s always a faster bit of kit somewhere whether that’s in a straight line or around a track. But when I get mine on track I’m going to film it, so you guys can all enjoy watching it on track. 😉

Anyone who says they sound good is just justifying their purchase. Which is fine. Most enthusiasts know a good sounding car. And these ain’t fucking that. Lol

Agree - mine definitely sounds good! I’m not saying it’s the best thing I’ve ever heard but it still sounds great.
