I like these as well, I just hope they will also offer a version other than black.

Assuming that they make it to actual production, of course.
They should offer that gold from the M2CS..that would be 🔥🔥🔥

Kidding... starting to like it...
The M-version allows for thicker slats and the better grille underneath the bucksters makes it look so much better. The non-M version is just kissing lips vs smiling pig (aka not good).

Finally another post that shows the version with the slats - which we saw in early spies. The slats help the look, hope they are in the base M3, doesnt look right without them

But I am confident that people will come around to BMWM's thinking.
No. No it isn’t looking any better. I really want to like this new design language, but I just can’t convince myself this thing isn’t a modern Edsel. The debut will be the time for to to finalize my opinion, but it is looking likely I will be leaving the brand, at least for a while.

Really?

These wheels they looks like they copied & pasted their own previous design, from the 666Ms.
Yes, but a little concave now compared to 666

The car below looks older and the car above looks closer to production.

These cars look much closer to production ready than the other thick slat cars.

Ah yes, the concavity. That was my issue with the 666M, the lack of concavity. In fact, I even likened them to bicycle wheels due to the lack of depth (and I had called the GTS 666M rusty bicycle wheels).

I look forward to the new wheel design shown in the leaks.
Concave design on M wheels is one of those things that should stay, especially if the G8x (G80 in particular) is going to have such aggressive wheel arches.

I never really had a Problem with the Front tbf. Was sitting firmly in the "reserve judgement until i see better Material" Camp. So no turning needed.

Those elongated power domes don't help imho. They just seem to accentuate the long grilles, and all I see is a mandrill

I have to say that I agree with you.

In the beginning I was shocked, I really didn't like it at all. Now it's growing on me, and to be honest, the front grill with orizontal slats is much better that what we can find onto the rest of the NON-M line.

I just would like to know something about the two different bumpers. Which is the one for the competition and the base one? Is the competition the one without additional slats ono the lower air vents or the one who has them instead of the grille?

To me, it looks like both bumpers have the slats, but in some instances they are covered and in some they are exposed.

I didn’t like it at first but it’s growing on me, maybe cause it’s new - getting an m3 meant something - now everyone rolling around in 15s with 60k miles for like 40k- despite the look of the car, would be nice to be somewhat distinguishable again, lol- I think it’s great the outgoing gen is in reach for more people but I think you’ll find plenty of people will buy the new one because of that. Not to mention the performance and technology it will come with. As the current gen ages, it’ll become cheaper and cheaper and that fact will drive more people to the next gen. Let’s face it, for the majority of us, getting an m3 was something many people worked towards for awhile- with the current gen costing less than even a new 340i, people will gravitate to the new model - yea it’s a mass production car but not everyone can or is willing to spend upwards of 1k a month on a vehicle- unfortunately the current gen will continue to go down and price and it’ll force anyone that wants to feel they accomplished something by getting an m3 to move onto Porsche or get the new model

I can’t wait to see the final product. With that said, I just picked up an M8 Competition Coupe, so I’ll just continue to lurk.
