I've been at VPC Brunswick since august 10th for stop sale for audio module. Just called genius they advised they no longer see the stop sale (they advise that means it's resolved) and stated it's been released to a carrier today. Seems like they fixed it fairly quick if it's true. Trying to give you guys hope

I called genius today and they backed up my dealers story that a work order is out and it would only take a couple of days. Of course they are likely looking at the same info but still…

My car got in to Baltimore port on the 13th, got the audio module fixed on Monday the 16th/17th and is release for shipment tomorrow Thursday. Should be at dealer sat or Monday. MY22 M3.

Sounds like our cars arrived together and will depart together with any luck. Congratulations 🤞 My car was released from its stop sale and assigned a car carrier today. My dealer is estimating they will receive it in Naperville, IL on August 24.

That's what I was told about my G30. I asked the Genius if it would come earlier and they said it usually does. we might be on the same truck too to IL and it just stops off at Elmhurst and Bill Jacobs. They're not too far from each other.

Did we ever confirm if this was just a software fix or not? I have the camera stop-sale as well and I'm wondering if this fix needs its own set of parts or it's just something that can be done at the same time as that.

Not what you're asking but I arrived in NJ on 7/26 and I'm still waiting for this to get resolved. I'll pay the DHL expedited fee plus packing materials to get one of these overnighted to NJ to button this thing up. Saturday will be 40 days at VPC. Not thrilled. Oh and it's for a 2021 (aka leftover).

I was wondering if this means I'll be getting delivery soon or if everyone is already assigned to a carrier and I just have to wait for the work order to finish

Which port are you at and when did you arrive there?

It's my understanding that a carrier assignment isn't made until the work is done.

I am at the one in Southern California. I arrived 8/23. Work order started 8/27. Carrier assignment was a new revelation made to me by the genius although I'm not sure if the others I spoke to just failed to mention it…
