Went for it!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
We recently retired my wife's 2019 Lincoln Navigator and replaced it with our first BMW, a new X7 X-drive M. Didn't realize I would enjoy it so much. I had an allocation for a 2023 Cayman GTS4.0 but Porsche has been really slow with any details. So, this Saturday I canned the Cayman and bought a 2023 M3C X Drive in IOM Green, with the KO interior. I think it will actually be a better vehicle for my needs too. Super excited! Anyway, Hi everyone! Likely adding winter wheels and perhaps exhaust in the near future so Ill be diggin' around here for advice on those!

Congrats on ur car. Check out the wheels thread for the winter tire advise. True winters like the Michellin PA5 are really hard to come by. Maybe better luck with asking ur local BMW dealer if they can order it for you. If not, the best way to get those is only through the BMW winter tire and wheel package that comes with the 829M wheels. With winter fast approaching, I would pounce on them quickly !!!

Nice! Did you snag one off the lot or are you waiting on it? It's an amazing car... to be honest I haven't driven a Porsche because I can't afford to catch that bug!

Custom order. Build 12/22. Yea, it would have been my 3rd Porsche, but I'm happy with how it worked out! More and more stoked each day about the M3 decision.

Yea, I run MICHELIN Pilot Alpin PA4's on the Porsche and hope to run the same on the M3C. Wheel are staggered identically, so Ill go that route once I settle on wheels.

R u planning on using the Porsche ones on the M3? I dont think they make the PA4's anymore. Just the PA5's now. If you are looking for a PA5 in the OEM spec, its really hard to come by as the rears r backordered. Most people are going with the square set up using all 4 front wheels.

I cant drive the Porsche if I take its tires off :-) Yea, square PA4/5 looks like the plan, but had not dug too deep as the M3C may not be here in time for too much winter... If the build date sticks, Ill start shopping that moment. Thanks!

Allocation, and have put a rather significant chunk of money on it. 12/29/22 build.
