Car looks promising and maybe performance wise a bit better than F8x. Front grill really looks off to me. Wish they stick to F8x and enhance the design a bit more, since there's a lot of areas for improvement. Oh well. I guess let's see the finish product. I can't wait....

So true (and Mineral Grey). G80 AWD most likely for me in individual Nardo Grey with black accents or Black Sapphire (blacked out).

Not feeling the G82 styling much but would really like to see it in the Frozen Portimao Blue fully unwrapped without camo (looked great in the Ring video). Maybe that could sway me...

That front... Still can't get over it and it's still not growing on me to this very day! No matter how hard I force myself to like it, it's not workin' for me. Tbh, it's hideous!

It's like looking at someone who has nice physique, physically strong, but have a butter face.

Nothing else really fits my needs. I will not buy an automatic, so choices are slim, until another brand enters the space. I am not super picky, but it has to be a manual.
Options are getting slim, for sure! Civic Type R is sweet looking but it may actually be a 4 seater ... g80 will be fantastic and fits the 5-seater/manual/functional/quick/fun bill than anything else out there... the looks are getting a lot of complaints but I'm definitely tired of complaining about it and I'll probably get one despite that.

It'll sell, for sure because you know. It's a BMW M3/4

Whats up man! Been a while. Nice to see all the F8x launch gluttons back to do it again.

Ive been looking for an excuse to buy a black car for years. The maintenance stinks but when they are clean... whoooo boy.

My first e90 M was Jet Black. Wish they would offer that again standard.

I will probably get the G80. My biggest gripe is not the grilles, I would gladly accept the grilles for a manual handbrake, but more so, Euro Delivery.

Having done it for an Audi and 2 BMW's - buying new it is much more special. W/o that option, I have no urgency to buy one. I picked up my F80 at The Welt when they first came out and had only seen one briefly in the flesh, so the excitement factor for the purchase was very high. It made the entire ownership more special to me. Not sure if I can just buy a new Mcar and just pick it up at the dealer. IDK, that has me on the fence.

Agree. It is a hard bar to lower. All the discussions from one of these trips last a lifetime. Never hear people continually talking about their dealer pick up. Typically you feel like a nuisance because other sales staff are waiting to borrow the silk throw :/

Any reason to end this option?

It looks that is one of the things that attracts customers.

More SUV sales and supposedly less demand, but obviously the F80 and F82 were near the end of their cycle so demand was going to drastically pick up with the G80, IMO.

Here is the thread announcing the end of the program.
