I think they should do a test in reverse on the Nurburgring.

Not trying to be ungrateful but that’s just the most awful and distorted picture to use as a pre-view. I for one would much appreciate an updated colored render from one of the recent lightly camouflaged pictures with less distortion as this one for example:

Why the F can't we have this? What's with the convex rear fenders? Make them concave just like the M3. Can't be that hard.

I was going f to do this to my M4 (it was a salvage car) but I totaled it. Ugh.

Why? Because a coupe doesn’t look good with the narrow butt of the sedan. You build the coupe with a wide low slung rear end and if you added the M3’s wheel arch flares on top of that the car would look silly and wouldn’t fit in most garages and some roads...

Dont understand what everybody is raving about? The colors or the car? It looks exactly like the new Lexus RC-F on that render...

Thanks, though I’m more interested in the G82 as seen in the latest pictures.

These renders make me seriously consider Dravit Gray or Alpine White.

The thing with the new taillights design (both 3er and 4er) is that with the dark upper part you lose the contrast to dark colors, which makes the taillights look sitting lower than they actually are, even more pronounced on the 3er than on the 4er (and you also can't really see the real shape of the housing). You will then see almost only the red part of the taillights, which isn't a good thing IMHO. Hence I prefer the look of the rear better with lighter colors.

Which is a pity, because I would actually prefer a darker color.

I don’t get why there are so many colours carried over from the ‘regular’ 4er palette with only a small selection of M specific choices? M cars are supposed to have a choice of unique colours not available on the standard range.

Having said that, I quite like the Isle of Man green with the caramel coloured leather.

Oh and one more thing, which I’ll get flamed for; I’m really not getting why so many people are banging on about the X3M, but then again I don’t like SUVs in general.

I’m sure the people that buy them (or X5/6M) like it very much, but why have a hulking great thing carrying extra weight with a high centre of gravity and then waste a good engine on it? What exactly is the point of it, is it 4-wheel drive or supposed extra room? Sorry, but get a proper M car or not at all...
