Quick shot leaving Meijer. I'll say this, aftermarket wheels are cool, but BMW killed it with the OEMs.

I was driving randomly in the city when I found it. Amazing how talented some people are. Wish I knew how to take better photos to enhance the look of the mural and my car lol.

Btw I couldn't agree with you more on these wheels. One of the best stock wheels from the factory. I've never been the type to spend thousands on aftermarket wheels on a brand new car. Although I have thought about picking up a set of bi colors 826 lol.

What camera are you using?

Use one set for winters? I like some aftermarket wheels but sometimes people change the wheels and make the car look worse IMO

I’ll admit the 826 bi color and 825 orbit gray wheels are nice but man they are a pain to clean.

I like my choice in aftermarket wheels because 1. I need some contrast 2. Easy to clean 3. They show off the brake calipers.

Haha IPhone pro 12 Max. I have a canon 5D Mark III. I'm just not a photographer but love the idea of photography. I had that camera for almost 8 years and I honestly never really learned how to use it. I'm like a monkey with cameras. Just running around clicking lol.

Sonax wheel pleaser plus man. It really works. I've scrub my wheels 3 times maybe in 4k miles. 100 bucks for a gallon but to me its well worth it not having to scrub every car wash.

That's a serious camera lol. Most of my pics are just iphone pics, but I moved to Sony mirrorless. You should get Lightroom and monkey around with that, it's fun.

I think yours is one of the cleaner ones I have seen. Specs of your setup?

Thank you! I was aiming for an OEM plus look.

My wheels are BC Forged RZ21 20X9.5 ET 15 front with 275/30 - 20 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tire and BC Forged RZ21 20X10.5 ET 15 rear with 285/30 - 20 same tires as the front.

I had them cut to accept the OEM center caps

You may recall, I followed your lead on the suspension setup. I took off the AST springs and went with stock rear and Eibach front springs.

HUGE! improvement over the AST springs.

Awesome, is your car xDrive? If so, I am assuming the tire setup falls within that 1% diameter tolerance?

Glad you think it's an improvement! I'm pretty happy with my ride. What didn't you like about the AST setup and how does this new one compare?

No my car is a 6MT. But to your question it does fall within the 1% diameter tolerance.

The AST was too low and there was too much scraping during normal driving. Also it was way more harsh than stock. All of the ‘just like stock’ comments were not true for me. It felt like the car was crashing around on it’s suspension and I was slowing down for road dips and small bumps.

The new setup feels more agile and comfortable. The car responds to input much better than it did on AST springs and I can drive it faster in corners.

I dislike the AST springs enough to not try and resell them. They will probably go in the trash, along with the roughly 1K cost to purchase them, get them installed and get the car aligned.

Thanks for the info. As for AST - ouch. That was going to be my go to set of springs since the KW HAS kit was too low in the rear (before the spacer fix came out). May still be worth a shot to sell them, someone will buy them (who has nicer roads).

On the way back from Denver to San Francisco, somewhere in Utah. Parking at scenic overlook still counts as a parking lot, right? TDevil is looking dirty from the drive but the scenery is beautiful.
