I ordered them from Baum BMW in Germany. They were about $1,220 shipped, with import duties paid. Duties were $48. The $1,220 includes the $48.
Thank you guys! I was away from the BMW scene trying out other Makes but I have a 23 G80 coming, so this is a great start. Glad to see a BMW Performance HAS with the other kits making noise. Sounds like this one too maybe but at least it's BMW Performance. Anything goes wrong, BMW wont be messing around with warranty etc.

To confirm, this kit is EDC compatible, right?

Yes, they're EDC compatible. I have no issues with mine. They're just lower stock springs.

Thanks, yea I can find a place to buy it. I am trying to see if I can get it as a port-installed option and avoid the hassle.

Woohoo! DHL will text you for import duties, once it hits the port in LA. I'm in NorCal. $48, paid straight to DHL. Paying it online, pays it instantly. No delays.

Just to confirm, is the HAS kit from Baum 100% identical to the kit that sponsors here are retailing for $500 more? If so that is quite the savings…

If they are out of stock at Baum, and they order them from BMW I didn't get a tracking number for like 8 days, maybe longer, I wanna say.

Yes it's the same set same part number as the US. 31305A2D979

To order off of Baum. It's much easier to go to it on desktop. Then select "shipping to" at the top, and in the bottom right, change Deutsch to English. Open in Google. Most of it should auto translate. Everything else, just copy and paste into google translation.

I wish I had of been patient and ordered these. I'm 2300 dollars in with MSS including installation. I may switch next year after the pain has settled from MSS. I will say though, after installing the V1 front springs, it's been ok so far.

I used Chrome on an iPad. As you noted, make sure you hit the shipping to: international thing at the top (or just make an account for €10 off, lol). From there everything translated automatically in Chrome. The only odd thing is they still charge €12 tax. I’m not really sure what it related so but I’m not really going to bother to ask over €12 either (this is on all orders I’ve seen btw, I’m actually going to place another order for puddle lights and some other stuff today). Everything is MUCH cheaper in Europe right now (I notice this on my other cars too so it isn’t only BMW).

That's about what I paid for mine, with install. I could have gotten them installed cheaper, but I went with a shop that everyone recommended and it ended up being $1,200 for the install and alignment. There is a shop around here that does it for $750, but the $1,200 shop was highly recommended.

Nice! It sounds like you have it all figured out. I'm not sure about the $12 tax either. I can't remember if that was also added when I checked all the way out, but I know it was a thing. Either way, everything is hundreds of dollars cheaper m, it would seem.

I emailed them about the bronze 1000m wheels, which, I made sure, come with the tires, for like $4,500. Unfortunately; they won't ship them, to the US and anyone ordering them in Germany, would pay 20% VAT, which would still make them cheaper. So, I'm stuck with ordering them, here for $7,150, if I really want them.

You're welcome. Someone had DMd
me a kit how long it's taking them to ship out. And I want to say that it took a week or so, before they shipped. So, if it seems like it's taking a while, they're working on it. I think they drop ship straight from Dingolfing, where the M4 is built. My box had all of the tracking labels from getting ordered from Dingolfing, right on the box and the dates were after I'd ordered them from Baum. But you're like the 4th person that's I know of, or that's contacted me, personally and ordered from the site. Everyone has gotten their packages.

I have a question for the folks who have ordered from Baum. On their page they list parts which are in their "Scope of Delivery" Springs; Spring Plates; Assembly Tool. Then they have another list of parts "which are not included in the scope of delivery but are required for the retrofit". These are various nuts; screws; collars; and washers. Allowing for translation variables, do you, or don't you get these "required parts" with the kit? If you have to order them separately (which makes no sense to me) how do you go about doing so? I do not see any way to do this on their site.

I ask because while researching I found this on "Get BMW Parts" here in the US. "Our kit includes the hardware list normally sold separately and required". Seems to agree with Baum, but again this makes no sense to me. It's a handful of "required" hardware. Throw it in the damn box and charge me extra if you must.

I am just trying to make sure that I will get everything needed to install the kit regardless of who I purchase it from. Though all things being equal, Baum would be the way to go. $1,049 and no shipping. Even with the $50 tariff it's still $300 less than anyone else I have seen.

So, did you guys get everything "required" in your Baum's box? Or anyone else's for that matter?

The "Kit" that Get BMW Parts is referring to, is to install the HAS kit like it would be installed at the dealer. For some reason, BMWs installation process requires the BMW tech to disconnect the upper strut, upper control arm, lower control arm, remove the axle nut, and tie rods, disconnect the brakes, and pull the knuckle, with the brakes attached, over to a workbench and complete the assembly that way. The instructions "call for" all of this hardware to be replaced after the assembly is re-installed.

I gave the parts list to my installer, and they ordered everything, and then when it came time to get the springs installed, by my local (Not the dealer) BMW trained technician, that person installed the springs the way they should be installed, by just removing the strut assemblies, and completing the work, that way. Most of the new hardware I ordered, was returned by the shop, to the dealer, as not used. I told them to replace anything that called for one time torque.

The tool (for xDrive only), again, is something the dealer would use in conjunction with the tool that already comes with the spring kit. Not required if you install them, yourself, or have a local shop install them. It's sort of a go-no-go gauge, a spring perch tool. There is a measurement that's taken to determine how far down the strut the spring perch is supposed to be installed. The installer told me, that the spring perch only goes so far on the strut because the strut is already tapered, so, you just slide the spring perch on, do the measurement, and torque the perch down.

The instructions call for the dealer to charge 8 hours for the install, with an additional 4 hours for height adjustment. I was told the total hours charged, by the dealer, would be close to 14, by the time they get everything installed, and measured, road test it, and align it,

The local BMW shop I took it to, took about 6 hours to install it, including the drive, re-adjusting the rear, lower, and the alignment.

It's been a few thousand miles since the install and they have been great. Final height after settling. Looking at the assemblies, when you Jack the car, it appears the springs are all the way to the lowest setting. BMW states the adjustability is 5-20mm. KW being 10-30mm, if I'm not mistaken. (10mm 12mm Macht Schnell spacers are also installed.)
