Another lowered G80 with KW HAS

Finally lowered my G80 with KW HAS today. First impression the ride quality is really good, almost can't tell a difference compare to stock. The drop is on point, I was hoping the front can go even a bit lower but it's at the lowest setting already, but not bad considering it's only a HAS not a coilover with really good ride quality. The rear can go surprisingly low, it's current height is a bit more than half of the threads down and I am still considering maybe raise it up a tiny bit at the back. Now it's running 10mm spacers all around and I know it's not flush because I have a set of wheels on order. The BBS LMs I ordered are 20x10J +22 front and 20x11J +24 rear, will use PS4S in 275/30/20 front and 295/30/20 rear. The front should sit flush with the 10mm and hopefully the rear won't rub with the 10mm spacer.

Nice!!! I have an appt later next month to have a set of them put on my G80. Planning to go pretty much all the way down on the front and to raise the rear to match the gap on the front. I like the raked look and prefer the rear a tad higher than the front.

Great look and maybe pull up the rear just a few mm's?

It seems most guys that are dropping with KW's have put the rear down a bit more than the front? I am personally 5mm lower (drop vs drop front to rear) But the Pirellis also are fatter vs the PS4's.

Your car is incredible btw.

If you want the rear to be a bit higher than the front then you will probably need to leave the back at the highest setting. M3's back is quite low from factory compare to the front.

Another member posted his kw setup about a month back. He had them match the gap and to me it was the perfect stance.

Thank you so much bro haha. I only dropped the rear by 15mm actually, still have around 30-40% left on the adjuster. I wish I could go lower with the front but the front is bottom out already at 25mm according to KW. I will probably raise the rear a bit more once it settles.

I drove quite a bit today and it looks maybe 2-3mm lower compare to yesterday and I am loving the look right now. Can't wait for my MP front lip, should look super aggressive with that.

I saw this before and I really like this one's stance, will probably raise the back up a bit like this one, maybe a tiny bit lower than this one.

Normally for Australia is 90-day production time plus 2-week air freight shipping but due to Christmas my dealer told me it's now 120-day production so end of Feb start of March ish I assume. I tried out the colors with the LMR, god I wish BBS has G8X LMR sizes.

Honestly I have no idea, haha maybe MSS lied about their stats again like their front end? Because KW says the maximum drop is 25mm at the back, I still have around 30-40% left on the adjuster. MSS says their front can lower by 30mm maximum but the reality is around 18-20mm maximum at the front, so I will not be surprised if the claimed maximum rear drop isn’t as low as they stated. Still MSS is a great product, the ride is second to none considering it’s only a lowering spring, rides better than KW HAS imho.

Oh no, Im not quoting MSS--- we did measurements via stock and dropped.

You tried MSS too? (asking cause you compared it to KW)

One of my friends has MSS and I tried it, the ride is awesome. As for the measurements, I haven't personally measured it but the person who helped me installed it say it's around a 15mm drop but I did see the adjuster threads still has around 30-40% left. The other AST thread has a few G80s that dropped around 15-18mm at the back that looks similar to mine as well. Anyway, the number doesn't really matter as long as it looks good haha.

I agree, the MSS linear set up is really good.
