I like carbon fiber, but I personally like to see the air filters when I open up the hood. Looks like you have that option on your site which is great.

Any sound clips?

The problem with buying Chinese parts is that you think they look good and are cheap, but all the claims are always unsubstantiated.

Isn't there a more reputable company that makes similar parts but with charts and tests to back the claims up? Even if it costs a little more, the added advantage is being made in the EU/US.

Assume Imran@Evolve will be developing an Eventuri intake - widely regarded to be one of the best out there.

There's a difference between a Chinese and a Taiwanese product. Arma is from Taiwan. I find after market kits, carbon products for Taiwan has superb quality and fitments. Another shop that has very high quality carbon is Future Design. Check them out. Be careful where you get the after market stuff from.

Nice to look at, but all of these are useless performance wise cause OEM is just as effective. Just remove charcoals, put in some BMC drop ins and call it day.

Funny you mentioned this, because I was watching one of the episodes of Engineering Explained in YouTube where the guy tested an Impreza with and without the charcoal filters and claimed no power gains (based on dyno results). But common sense would tell you that less restriction = more power. I did it to my Impreza (commuter) and will do it next to my M4.

It's more of an effect on tuned cars. We saw over 10whp on my S55 up top

Agree. I installed the BMC on mine and removed the charcoal filters. Just a smoother run to redline. BMW did an excellent job on the intake from the factory.

Not impressed by this kit. Way too much carbon.

Mishimoto did some testing. Due to the new tuning strategy in the G8X, aftermarket intakes will NOT gain horsepower without tuning changes as power is fixed to the stock tuning.

See starting at 4:25 in this video:

Mishimoto should redesign their intake. Kies Motorsports installed the MST intakes and gained 12HP without a tune.

Dyno for before and after is at 10:47.

Saw a Youtube about the charcoal filter. On a low horsepower Subaru, just removing it and keeping stock filter gained ~2% hp and lowered 0-60 by almost a tenth. Putting in K&N style with charcoal was barely better than stock without. Best, of course, after market filter no charcoal. Significant hp increase ~ 4 and 1.5 tenth reduction. Don't know it extrapolates to 550 hp cars, but clearly ditching the charcoal makes a lot of sense--even keeping paper oem filters.

I only heard of ARMA speed a few months back and ordered their intake for my AMG S63 coupe and their carbon is spot on.

If Eventuri fitment is 9/10 ARMA is 8,5/10 IMO.
