Another lowered Xdrive g80

Just got back from the shop with my g80 lowered on KWs. The results were 👍. Its not so low that it will scrape the driveway and there is still room for the springs to settle. Im not sure if there will be spacers placed. The most important thing is I can finally see the ground in front of me I want to thank Drive Auto in Mountainside NJ. I also want to thank Vic55 for being brave and lowering his xdrive to encourage us.. I would appreciate everyone's thoughts.

That looks great.
Not sure where I'm taking mine to get lowered - how long did Drive in Mountainside take? How much was the install? You can PM if you want.

I'm thinking about spacers but not sure 🤔 what size. Next step is midpipe mod or valvetronic midpipe. Whichever will cost less. Shops near me are deathly afraid to remove 2ndat cat converter

I see you lost the tire lottery (same here). Since I’m on pirellis, as you are, I took tom @ eas’s advice and went with 10/12. No rub whatsoever (even on full lock reverse). Obviously not as aggressive as others around here (15/12, 12/12, etc.) but still nice. YMMV.

Ahh great, I just ordered a set of KW HAS today. Most likely going to put it to the lowest setting straight away haha. Your one looks amazing already but if it can go lower even better especially the front.

Yeah I hope so bc there is a 1.5 finger gap in the front. The rear is perfect. It seems like the front is slightly higher than the back. The guy working on my car say bmws tend to have the front slightly higher than the rear

Yeah same with the F8X, the front tend to be quite a bit higher than the back. Correct me if I am wrong, the KW HAS kit on your car right now is the one for the RWD version and the installation is exactly the same like the RWD version right? No need to have slight change or DIY anything with the KW HAS kit. I just want to be sure it can be fitted without a problem haha.

Without problems, instalation is the same except for the front you have to take off the shocks to be able to fit the HAS kit

You can have them lower the front more. EAS got mine setup with a one finger gap front and rear which looks even. The exaggerated front gap drives me insane!
