The buck seat look amazing but they are not confortable at all and is quit annoying to get in and out!

I think it would look even better if the rear seats had the headrests removed

I do like the carbon bucket seats in the coupe, but for a convertable it looks very stupid. Cruising around in a comfortable way remains the purpose of convertible. The carbon bucket seats do not fit with this purpose at all.

These are the best bucket seats available in a car today in my opinion and while I think the combo looks great it doesn't make sense to me in a very since you lose some features from the standard seats. Comfort and cooling of the seats.

Wouldn't it look sweeter with the now discontinued 3 piece folding hard top?

Oh, and lowered too.

All of us 1st movers for the G83 are ordering without a test drive, thus why I went with the regular M seats.

To be fair, I don't know a single person that had the ability to test drive a g80/g82 before ordering. I'm sure some did, but 99% did not.

As you know from my January 2021 PCD post, the PC staff told me not to order the Carbon Buckets.

In general or on a G83? They are my favorite aspect of the car.

Why not? I tracked my 1st ED a 335is vert at the Ring x 4 laps. That was back when the Welt encouraged you to track the Ring during your ED. BMW offers the M Drivers Package and M drive professional for the G83, as I ordered the latter option to drift.

In general for all G80/G82/G83. I will ask the BMW M engineers when I'm back in Germany or Sweden what they feel about the buckets, as they are the instructors for the M driving programs.
