Is it really $10k when you factor in the tax? Genuine question. If he paid the tax on top
Of MSRP do you get that back some how or no?

If you have to eat the tax it's more like $2500 or so?

His cost includes sales tax, other fees (doc fee, etc), so yeah, you'd have to factor that in to determine his profit

I paid tax and I also paid over sticker. Just trying to recoup my money. Payoff is close to 99k…
Don’t want to make a profit, idc.

I want an suv that’s why. M3 is too small for me

From what I'm seeing in the market - you should be able to get that price. Beautiful car!

Now why would I pay you that much when I can still get the car below MSRP in Southern California.

You actually can't find anything at msrp in California right now. You can maybe find and allocation at msrp. Before you tell me you can. Please make sure there's a car at the lot that you're claiming is Msrp so I can call and verify. In California it's almost impossible. With that said I wouldn't pay 99 for this.

Yeah, I've been looking a couple months in SoCal and nothing under or even at MSRP...most 10K over.

Paying over sticker on ANY car, especially a mass-produced one, is still beyond me.

There's a mass website which show what's in stock at dealers across the country. Check they out, and start calling.. you never know

It all depends on your relationship with a big dealership. I have purchased few cars and I can get an allocation below MSRP, but I will circle back when the LCI is out next year and choose between the new M2 or M3.

Why would you reply if this does not apply to you or if you have no interest?

They mean well with that site, but it's close to useless for new G80/82's since there's essentially zero inventory of them available. Any cars listed are already sold, and it's just part of the automated inventory management system the dealer uses that "leaks" it out to the website (which of course the dealer doesn't mind since it generates leads that they then try to convert to another sale).

Used inventory is slightly more reliable, but even there you need to call dealers directly to verify since they're often very slow about updating availability.

Who are you?
I'm just saying because you can try to get one without having to overpay.

Penske Automotive group of dealers in SD have a policy to not charge above MSRP.
