KW V5 Clubsport is being developed for G8x platform

As the title says, KW has started development of the V5 Clubsport suspension kit. Price tag is gonna be hefty though. Thoughts?

The V5 will have both low- and highspeed adjustable valves on rebound and compression (V4 only on rebound). Also the valves will be a different technology.
Plus the damper housing will probably be made from aluminum instead of stainless steel and it will come with adjustable camber plates.
This will be the most high end coilover KW has to offer for street use (and probably track too). Will cost around 11'000.- where I live. So imma pass.

Dunno how much it will be in the US, but expect it to be around 50% more expensive than the V4.

Holding off on variant 4 until 5 is released. Curious if pricing will change. Street car / light track day car, the 5 doesn't warrant the price bump.

This is obviously for serious track users. If your car is a mainly a street car, go with the other KW offerings

I do hope KW comes around and gets us a V3 aswell. For now the official answer from KW is sadly no plans for V1-3.

I was in talks with KW directly in Feb 21 before my car arrived and ordered KWv3 back then when they said it is in development and should be ready end of summer…

2 months later they called and said they dropped v3 for this platform…so I got v4 installed last year in September.

Therefore I don't expect there will be a v3 version for this platform any soon..if ever….

Apex Ring Taxi has the V5

Sounds like an amazing set up but way too much money for most. You're not going to get the benefits unless you're a very serious driver I would think

V4 is going to be much better bang for buck

They are in busy finalizing on the V4 for xdrive and DDC.

I'm waiting on the DDC, myself. I keep telling myself to just get KW HAS, because the OEM suspension is so good, but I know as soon as the DDC setup comes out, I'm going to want it.

As I have already said, the DDC can be delayed, the V3 can already be ordered from any KW dealer. On April 1st it will appear online on the KW website. costs 2600€

With the DDC u keep the electronic damper adjustments. Otherwise this is removed.
