Premium floor mats $1400, worth it?

Hey guys I came across some really nice looking mats on IG by wellmats.USA and they're charging 1400 four all four. The mats look awesome but I am having trouble justifying paying that much for something I will be stepping on. They do claim a 10 year warranty. What I'd like to know is does anyone here own custom mats and where did you get yours from?

With that carbon in the middle, youre going to have to PPF the carbon, so it doesnt get all torn up. If you dont, your shoes are going to drag rocks all across it, and it will look like hammered dog sh@t in a week. It would be a negative, for me. I like the OEM all weather ones, I already have. I think they were $98 for the fronts?

That's a great point which I didn't think of. I also have the OEM all weather mats and was initially very happy with them but they're losing their luster. Do you know of any other floor mat manufacturers who do custom work? Appreciate your thoughts and your input!

Lloyd Mats are always great. Not sure if they make BMW Mats, though.

No. Worse part, beside being expensive, is they might be very slippery

Another good point although they claim OEM fitting but I see how the top could be slippery also.

They make BMW mats, just nothing with a logo, for trademark purposes. It doesnt look like theyre licensed to reproduce the BMW Logos.

I'm all up for carbon fiber as I have it on my trim, but for this, hell to the no. First of all, way to expensive, second, I honestly think they look ugly. I think that if I saw this in someone's car I would feel that they are trying too hard. Save your money.

I agree they don't look that great. Besides getting into the car and looking down once, how often do you look at the floor mats to admire them. I like the BMW OEM all weather mats the best. Save your $1400.

For that money you would enjoy the Burger Tuning intake. The mats, besides being fugly, start to be too much BMW logo in your face.

I agree. I am not a fan but each their own. The money could be put to better use.

That's insane. I can't imagine spending that on any set of floor mats. That center part looks like it would be quite slippery and then get all dirty and smudged with wet feet and then what are those side parts made of? They also don't look ideal for wet feet.
