These look interesting for serious winter protection:

Here's a pic of the sticker on the trunk liner from weather tech in my M3. The company is sticker fab. https://www.stickerfab.com/products/...ech-floor-mats

By the way, I got the cargo tech things from weather tech also (you can see just a little bit of them on the top of the pic). It's great when you have groceries or loose stuff in the car you don't want banging around while you are ripping corners The four corners can be placed wherever you want, making it adjustable to lots of different configurations depending on what you want to secure. I've never used them before, but I found that with the M3, you can't really have stuff rolling around in the trunk! https://www.weathertech.com/cargotech/

Those Tuxmats look interesting. The G30/F90 mats from BMW don't cover a lot of the carpet. Looks like the G20/80 mats have the same issue.

I inquired about Tuxmats for a G82. Not available yet. Looks like they need a car to laser scan which they do in Toronto.

You have several delivery stickers still on your car.

Yup, I know. Recently took ownership of the car and didn't get the chance to remove all those stickers.

I bought the Weathertechs for the floors, and they fir great. They are on the slippery side compared to the BMW all weather ones, the problem with the BMW ones is I wore out the area where my heel normally rests by the gas pedal. I decided on the Weathertechs because they were more durable compared to BMWs on my old F22.

Let us know how the Tuxmats work out. I emailed them asking if they make them for the G80 to which they replied "...the vehicle falls outside of the vehicle specifications we are producing custom mats for."

Will do. Still waiting for the RAM stop sale to clear before I can get the car.

When I asked via Amazon if the G20 mats would fit the G80 they said it would…so who knows? 🤷🏻 Hopefully will be able to find out soon.

The "M Performance" OEM mats fit both G20 and G80 so I would expect any others to be the same.

Also, my sympathies on the RAM stop sale. I'm in purgatory waiting with you.

That's what I figured and why I ended up just ordering before actually having the car in hand.

Plus, I've got the extended holiday return window through Amazon should they end up not fitting.

I had Tuxmat in my last car for winter use, they are very good IMO. I'd get them again for sure.

I bought the Weathertech mats. Perfect fit, super easy to clean. Those G20 mats look like a pain with all those recessed lines. And I just bought these emblems, similar to the ones previously mentioned. I have weathertech/ husky on my 3 vehicles, I can't believe people are good with carpet. Yes I know, I'm OCD f'd up.

every time someone in my family has bought a car (regardless of make), we have always asked and received "free" floor mats, and the g80 was not an exception.

Try asking your sales agent for the favour.
