Worst color on the G80 / 82

Saw AW in person and loved it, the contrast of the black accents and carbon fiber really set off the color for me, so I ordered one in AW. The only two colors I didn't consider are SPY and black.

Everyone hates AW but I can't wait to get mine! I love the white/black "storm trooper" look on almost any car.

I have to agree. Within my first few months of G82 ownership, I never saw another one on the road (even though I'd actively be looking out for them). One day, I was eating lunch at a restaurant next to the window and noticed an AW BMW parked across the street. Didn't think anything of it. After finishing my meal, I was leaving and just did another casual glance at the AW BMW. Then I noticed the red calipers and then finally realized it was another G82. Since then, I have seen a few other G8X's on the road, but the AW one was the only one that didn't catch my eye immediately.

SP Yellow. Otherwise, BMW offers a great selection of colours for the M3/M4. All frozen options (especially frozen dark grey), davit grey, portimao blue and tanzanite blue are all nice options.

Color is obviously subjective, but I think you'll love it. My first G82 was AW/Black with Jet Black 826M, and I found it to be pure eye candy once I saw it in real life.

I was almost certain that my next G82 was going to be an Individual color (San Marino Blue or Frozen Black), but I ended up doing AW again. This time, the car will have a Fiona Red interior and red brake calipers (blue calipers on the first car).

The contrast with the black/CF parts is perfect for me. The color is bright, yet sufficiently under the radar to avoid unwanted attention. It works much better on these cars in person.

Irony but I actually dont see many AW's here and I like it--- I have had many AW's on prior M's and this was when they were all over the boards (pic posting).

This thread is tough to reply too because its so subjective in nature.

But since black and white are not technically colors but instead shades maybe????

I think the best way to say it is not the worst color but the least desirable?

Not a fan of SPY, hurts my eyes in person. Here comes the flame 🔥, but I’d be lying if I said IOMG was not starting to lose its luster with me as well… all in context in coming from a guy who only does black/white/grey. I like my neutrals.

I love IOMG, but that was a fear of mine too. That I'd like it initially and then it would wear off.

And since I have one, or I am one, I’ll say that mint green is also my least favorite color that I’ve either seen in person or photo.
