Individual Nardo Grey G80 M3 Build
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com My Outgoing F80 and E36 M3. Amazing combo but when I saw the updates made to the G80 I knew I needed one for myself. The F80 was an incredible car for the entire 60,000Mi that I owned it. Despite the DCT being incredibly fast and responsive, the driving experience always seemed to be lacking some connection between car and driver. With 1000HP Electric Teslas and every new generation of Mclaren pushing closer and closer into rocket ship territory, being fastest is not only unobtainable but now reaching a point where the cars cannot be taken advantage of or enjoyed on public roads. For this reason I chose to go 6 speed manual this time around. Delivered dirty and still in the wrapper just as requested and loaded straight onto the tow truck. The car will not see a mile on the road until it's PPF'd and protected inside and out. It will be covered in XPEL Ultimate Plus from head to toe. Looks pretty good next to the E36. Unbelievable the size difference between the two! Initial impressions are WOW BMW has made some major improvements since the F8x Chassis. Overall fit and finish is far better than the outgoing car and the technology and UI is a major upgrade. Touchscreen IDrive should have been introduced 2 generations ago but better late than never. No driving impressions as of yet but I am expecting great things based on what I have heard so far and how much I loved my F80. This will be a forever car for me and I look forward to enjoying it for years to come. First round of upgrades will include XPEL PPF, Tint, AST lowering, PSI Midpipe, and 20/21" Monoblock wheel upgrade. |

Nice build. Individual grey gang checking in. My Grigio Telesto (P6M) G82 is currently at the NJ port waiting for the RAM stop sale to clear. I will have been in the 6-month wait club too, all said and done. I may go a step further and go satin PPF, but have to see it first.

Beautiful Spec!!! Nice to see in manual as well. It looks great next to the E36. . Coming from an F80 6 speed comp to a G80 6 speed myself it didnt feel like much of a size difference, but seeing it next to the E36 it looks huge lol

Nardo Grey was $4500 but it is dependent on the color that you choose. I’d imagine nardo is one of the less expensive individual colors since they’re just clear coating over primer. |

Now we're talking. Gorgeous. Can I ask what the benefits of a non metallic grey were to you (as opposed to something like Grigio Telesto)?

Nice color choice and transmission, there's one in Luxembourg as well. Super rare to see this color!

There is no replacement for Nardo. Great color choice. I ordered Dravit, although, I told myself if I ever ordered a car, it would be either Nardo, Fashion Gray, or Grigio Telesto, and After seeing the $103K price tag, and not wanting to remove anything else from the build, I chickened out. But Im jealous. And at the time of ordering, I had a Sonic Gray Pearl Accord, and a Sonic Gray Pearl Civic Type R. Which is similar to Brooklyn Gray with a lot of pearl. And although you have 3 cars the same color, theyre all BMWs, and thats a collection. I just bought the HOndas for a daily and because I liked the color. The Type R ended up being worth it, because I sold it right after I ordered my M4 and made $7,000 after putting 10K miles on it, over the 2 years I owned it. It was a good choice. Great choice on the CCBs as well. I love them, now that theyre broken in a little. The didnt seem to stop that great when they were brand new.

Love Nardo! Beautiful car. I will take delivery of my Mexico blue G80 the same way once it arrives. Flat bed tow- No miles until full PPF is done… Love it.

Realistically, shouldn't make much of a difference since a full paint correction is done prior to the ppf install. That said, there is a risk of getting a rock chip on the way to the installer, so there's that also. |
