Worst color on the G80 / 82

The speed yellow with all the black accents looked very Taxi-cab ish too me.

Theres a lot of opinions on colours which i bet much are based on photographs and various vid reviews.

I couldnt stand SPY and thought TR a simple bland M colour until I saw them in the flesh. An M4C in SPY blew me away and bought a M3C in TR a short while after.

These cars definitely need seeing for real. Ive not known a car reveal itself so much more in the flesh than G80. Photos reveal so little of this cars lines and angles incl the grill, which to me looks even better for real.

Thats the great thing about choice. TR looks and contrasts awesome against the black and carbon exterior trim with Silverstone full eather carbon bucket seats. The colour to me is neither too bright nor too dark. A lovely mid 'M' colour.

TR suffers from looking crap in photos however.

Still, its good to have so many options both inside and out.

I think, however, that these two G8x colors in particular are VERY hard to catch well on camera phones with lots of variability. Amazing in person though, IMO. Took these yesterday and neither represent how great they actually look.

The pics don't do it justice, really.
SPY was just striking with a slight greenish hue in it. It didn't look washed out like it does in the photos.

Love SPY but just garnishes to much attention for me.

I have always had red cars, and currently drive a TR X3MC. It hasn't grown on me. It's orange, but not orange.

Kills me that I have to pay $4,500 to get a Melbourne Red M3C. But such is life. Got my allocation two days ago…

Definitely have to say IOMG. Green is just such a bland color for a car. I saw one in person expecting to be blown away and tbh.. the more I looked at it the less I liked it. Very very surprised BMW picked this for a launch color over the others.

When I ordered my F80, I was torn between BSM and Yas Marina Blue. I was even going to go with carbon-structure cloth and finally decided to play it safe with black paint and black leather interior. I always regretted it. This time I have been purposely seeking out a loud color for my G80 order and I think I am going to go with SP Yellow. Probably going black leather though since the blue and yellow interior is way too much.

In person I've turned my nose up at SPY, IMG, DG (it had like gold flecks in it that doesn't show in photos, why?!), but oxide grey metallic is the absolute worst color. It's BMWs version of old-man Cadillac grey and it just sucks the life out of this car.

Agree. This is my first BMW in 9 BMWs that I didn't order AW. I LOVE AW, and it just doesn't look right on this model, even though it tends to contrast well with gloss black

I lied… I’m updating my choice. Somewhere there’s a flesh color G80 floating around and it’s the grossest looking color I have ever seen on any car ever.
