Finally picked up my San Marino Blue AWD G80 M3 w/ carbon fiber bucket seats

OP, That is a beautiful car inside and out. You are a small guy so I guess those bucket seats were as you said built for you. The only thing I would suggest is that you get the entire car PPF'd since you are already going with full front, side skirts and back. You'll thank me down the road. Keep the entire paint job protected. Salt, potholes, debris from highway driving to much risk for that paint.

I am an avid lover of tanzanite blue but I gotta say this looks absolutely stunning. Its such a rich blue. I'm in love!

I'm actually considering having the wheels powdercoated the same color as the F80 CS wheel color (orbit gray i think it's called?). That wheel color with the SMB paint looked so good. Probably won't do it right away, but maybe eventually.

there is something to that color
I never drove the car for more than couple of miles without someone giving me thumbs up or yelling great color

Here’s a visual that might help - I see this new grille design as a fighter jet intake. Now that I see it that way rather than animal, I love it. It reminds me of a fast jet aircraft - aviation inspired. Whereas the older kidneys I now can’t help seeing as animal in nature - belonging to a pig nose. Imagine Miss piggy’s nostrils and you can never unsee that.

Loving this colour - gorgeous!

It’s just extended, not full. Went back and forth a bunch, didn’t think it was worth it. Sometimes I wish I got it, but ehh I don’t care that much.

Congrats on a fantastic color choice! If I were speccing out a G80, this would probably be the one! Enjoy the car and color! I have this color on my F82, and SMB puts a smile on my face every time I walk to and from my car in the parking lot 🙂 Definitely a head turner!
