Did you take delivery yet?

I sent my CA the promo and he added the east region amount of $2K to the estimate while my car was in transit, but then the finance guy adjusted it to the correct west region amount of $1,500 at delivery.

RDR is where everything has to match up.

Is the $1,500 incentive for a cash purchase, or getting a loan from Navy Federal, etc?

I have Penfed/USAA/ID.ME already, I am trying to figure out whether it is worth joining these guys.

I'll see if my dealer will let me do this. Navy's rates took off faster than BMW's rates this fall. Still want to use the Navy cash incentive over all other options.

I am having a tough time getting this coupon to work correctly. I sent the $2000 coupon to my dealer a few months ago, and the True Car site still says "$2,000 Bonus Cash added" for the M3, but my dealer is only "seeing" $1500 when they apply the coupon to the transaction. I am buying at an East coast dealer so it's not negatively affected by the location.

My dealer told me to reach out to BMW corporate to get the coupon sorted. I first called TrueCar/Navy Federal and they also told me to call corporate. I just called corporate and they said they "don't handle anything to do with coupons" and the coupons are "entirely up to the dealer to accept." Very unhelpful, even when I told them my dealer told me the exact opposite, and going back to them will likely be unfruitful.

This is extremely frustrating because I know the dealer is just going to push back on taking the coupon at face value, while the site still advertises $2000 right now!

Has anyone recently gotten the $2000 to work?

Took East Coast delivery 2 weeks ago and only got the $1500. Was happy to get that as it does not say plus M like the 4 series. The 4 series +M says $2000. The 3 series says $1500.

Thanks for posting this. Certainly helps to offset the 2023 pricing increases a bit.

Except these incentives have been around for years so your net increase is still $1500-$1900… not cool.

Does dealer have to be a “true car” dealer for this incentive?

I mean yeah, you're right. I just started looking so I've really only known the 22 and now 23 pricing models. It definitely sucks, but with inflation running off the rails, there's no way to avoid it. Maybe it'll eventually ease demand a bit and get dealers back to doing deals under MSRP...

Has anybody tried to use this recently? They have M3's listed, but my CA "ran my VIN" and said I didn't qualify. Something seems fishy...

I just ran the Truecar code from NFCU, it gave me a $1500.00 off the price of an M4.

Really old info -- I took delivery in December of 2021, but for my '22 M3, I financed through Navy Federal and the paperwork from the dealership had a line "less $2,500 USAA." (I am a USAA member but got a better rate through Navy.) I had no idea what it all meant but didn't ask questions, you know? And then got the $500 CCA back, too. And got a 1.79% rate from Navy to boot. OK -- those were different times.

Yeah same here. I'm guessing the we ran you VIN thing is BS? It clearly shows up on this site with an expiration at the end of 2023.

Are you picking up your car soon? Debating whether I should bring up the discount now or in a few days when I go to pick up my car and sign the paperwork ( not sure if it even matters)?

It is always better to give the dealership advanced warning, in my opinion.
