Thought I was the only one in the hood with an BG m3c. Guess not.

P.s. - mines the one that won the Pirelli lotto.

Not sure if you're making a joke about getting the pirellis (lots of unnecessary hate about them on here), but they are literally better in the wet than the MPS4S. I'll link it later, at the gym lifting right now.

BTW, beautiful car to both of you. I love that color. My dealer had a G82 6MT in that color for sale when I was there for break in service over the weekend. I looked at it forever haha

That's definitely not the star spec in those tests

It's not the star spec for either tire. There's no reason to believe that the p zero star spec did not also receive a significant improvement like the PS4S did. Let's say it didn't (which we know is not true because they have a star spec), the p zero still scores 8+ rating in the wet, which is damn good. People on this forum act as if the pzero star spec is some atrocious tire in the wet, when it's clear that even the manufacturer spec is actually quite capable.

They really do, I hope the Pzero gets a video like the 4s did

This.

Thanks for the dose of reality, guys. Whichever tire I end up with, I need it to be awesome in the wet.

Do you have any real world experience to back up what you're saying? I have a lot, on regular cars to super cars, and I wholeheartedly disagree with you. P Zero sucks in the rain compared PS4. That's a fact. PS4 warm up faster, put down power better, are more responsive, last longer, and look better.

Controlled tests where companies get paid by manufacturers to skew results isn't exactly the way to go when looking at what tires to buy.

Focus on the gym when you're at the gym. 💪

Well I had PS4S on my F80 and I have PZero on my G82. I live in the Midwest so we get many different weather conditions. You are making a baseless claim, insinuating that Tirerack (which sells both tires btw) was paid by pirelli to skew wet performance and then maybe also paid by Michelin to skew dry performance? I guess Yokohama didn't cough up enough yen.

It's quite possible that your driving style is more suited towards PS4S, but the only thing that is a fact here are the results of the test.

As well, I will do whatever I want in between sets of my powerlifting regime, but thanks for the advice

Past Tire Rack tests are why I've always viewed the PS4S as superior to the PZeros. And I think they're pretty objective since they sell all of these tires and their tests generally track comments from customer reviews. Seems like the Michelins still have the edge, except in the wet where the Pirelli is superior. And the gaps are much less than I recall them being in the past (although PS4S still has a significant edge on a dry track). So in the end, I'd still prefer to get the Michelins but not the end of the world if I get the Pirellis. Thanks for posting the link to the test

Spent a whole weekend driving through the wet in my G82 with Pirelli’s and thinking how wonderful they were in the rain. Then I see this thread, lol.

The Pirelli’s are fantastic in the rain, how do these baseless rumors even get started?

I probably see rain 4xs a year (when Ill drive my G8X)....Cali Privilege.

But then again Im not a Max Verstappen ripping the streets in a race car or the track so the negligible gains one might see on a track (in an M3) diminished by my lack of track prowess coupled with logistically challenged ability to get to one are not effected by Pzero ownership.

Im sure all the race car owners here will disagree.
