Uses 2 existing screws on either side of the oil cooler and you tap 2 screws to the trim around the cooler.

pg80 If you check out Zunsport's site, they have video clip of the process. Or just Youtube Zunsport oil cooler guard and it should come up.

Ended up going with the Zunsport as well. Better than having nothing at all and doesn’t change the clearance since I’m also lowered.

If anyone wants a discount you can use my member number for a 15% discount. 👍🏼

Super quick shipping as well via FedEx… ordered on a Wednesday… delivered the following Monday.

How much were you charged by the dealer for the install? I am thinking to get one for my G82.

Does the Mishimoto need the front lip removed to install?

It doesn't require removing anything, which is one of the pros to the Mishimoto.

I also have one arriving today, decided on that because it's more substantial than Zunsport which matters to me being in California where the roads are poorly maintained and frequently have debris on it.

Technically you need to remove the front under-bumper screws in order to fasten it to the under part of the car there, but they give you replacements.

But yes, it doesn't require removing any actual pieces of the car (except the stock air dam to move it over to the mishimoto plate).

No front lip removal. You will unscrew OEM plastic cover and replace with Mishimoto. Front 3 screws are included for the threaded portion on the plate. Otherwise reuse OEM screws.
Transfer little rubber dam from OEM plate. I suggest doing it before installing the plate because it’s easier then doing on the floor then upside down when u under the car.

Huh, I don't remember an option to sign-up for Zunsport membership when I made a purchase. And this is a no-cost membership?

I had emailed Mishimoto a day or two ago and here was the response about the lip.

Thank you for your email. Our apologies, but we have not tested our MMSD-G80-21 for fitment with the M performance front splitters. We cannot guarantee a direct fitment and please be aware that CS models may require enlarging the holes in the front splitter if you use our skid plate. We are always here to help and support our customers. Please feel free to follow up with any additional questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help!

You should have received a black business card that provides the details.

I got the Mishi a few weeks back. Great quality and fit and finish. Definitely recommended. I can’t justify the additional expense for minimal difference of the other brands. It’s a sacrificial part first and foremost. I’ll probably end up doing their manifold, charge pipes, and complete cooler package.

Another alternative would be rather than sliding it under the clips to simply zip tie it to them if you don't want the mesh to touch the oil cooler.

Do you have the Mmperf lip or any lip installed? Any issues with fit or bolt length / width size ?

D'oh...found the envelope containing letter and card in the bottom of the box. I simply removed the mesh guard only and didn't tip over the box.
