MY'23 Allocations - July

I think more M3 allocations will drop towards the end of July/ beginning of Aug. It seems that BMW is trying to pump out the 50th anniversary cars, plus any remaining 2022 which transitioned to 2023 orders. It also seems that the cars are being produced at a much faster rate, which is great!

I have been waiting since Feb 5th for an allocation and my patience is definitely wearing thin.

Hang in there friends. We already come so far.

My very patient CA looked up most recent M3 allocation for Southern Region of USA. For what it's worth, he said 4 M3's were allocated to the entire Southern region in this most recent drop.

That's ridiculous. I understand the supply chain issues but come on, four allocations for the whole southern Region? That's got to be a joke. Most of us have been waiting over six months for an allocation, and all of us got hit with a 2023 model, with ID8 and a price increase. BMW, you need to do better.

I'm not sure what color that is, but I think it's just a standard placeholder when you order an individual color.

The actual car will be Frozen Deep Grey.

They didn't have anyone on their list when I put a deposit down in early June, so this is a new allocation.

Very quick turnaround, and a much different experience compared to the M3, which I originally ordered back in September and have been sitting at #1 since December (at a different dealer).

It looks more like Chalk to me.

FDG is quite a bit darker in the visualizer.

I see..glad you got an allocation but def kind of a sucky feeling when I've been waiting since March at #1 at multiple dealers on a M4 Comp that it apparently is not that difficult to get an allocation for. Definitely getting the feeling I'm being passed over for higher bidders. Perhaps time to look outside NYC Metro where I guess it's easy to find people willing to pay markups. Really getting fed up with this shit.

Same here. Same car, #1. Been on the waitlist at #2 Since early February. And #1 since March.

Really getting annoyed. Everything else I've cross shopped is more. RS6 or E63 - not making anymore. And the M5 is meh.

M3 has been my dream car since a kid, and of course when I'm able to get it; this happens. Aha.

Hopefully we get good news soon. It's a extra car for me, but the wait, cost increase, lack of military rebate is burning me out.
