Anyone experience Headlight fogging after delivery?

Dealer said normal and will dissipate. Not worried for now, but wondering how many others have had this after delivery. Both headlights had it btw.

I read elsewhere that some have experienced it after delivery (likely due to power wash during prep) but it eventually went away and never came back. I plan to monitor it and bring it up during the breakin service if it persists.
Just curious if anyone else experienced it and it went away or persisted.

This is normal, these type of headlights are not fully sealed so as to help with heat management. I'm sure it'll say that in the owner's manual.

Well if I only had the manual lol, I usually read it all. They misplaced it at delivery so waiting for them to order a new one. I tried reading the online one, but my aging eyes did not like that lol.

It is definitely in the manual. You can download the BMW "Driver's Guide" app, it has the full manual. That's what I use. Below is a snippet from the manual.

oh I have had it downloaded way before I got the car, but reading it is another challenge. Reading on the phone is not as easy at my age anymore :-(. Could not find a way to save it as PDF though to at least view it on my monitor. I guess I could use the android phone app to screen mirror to a big screen, but still the bmw guide app does not allow search it seems.

The app I mentioned in my previous post has a search function.

Yeah i noticed that but it does not search the PDF itself. That being said, it seems the results may be the same info in the manual!

Did you ppf the headlights? There was another thread saying that there are holes that shouldn't be covered.

I applied PPF to the headlights. I was hesitant about it, but I did it anyways. If it becomes an issue I'll deal with it later.

Nope, and I haven't seen any condensation since then. I am chalking this to maybe the powerwash they did during prep and not concerned anymore given the feedback here. Thanks all.
