What was everyone's timeline between signing the papers at the dealer to pay for the car and than going to pick it up at the PDC?

How long did you have to wait between paying for the car at your dealership than going to pick it up?

You should probably do it at least a week ahead of time.

They need at least four business days to process your paperwork and get it to the Performance Center. I wouldn't recommend cutting this close.

Your CA coordinates and confirms your delivery date. A PCD rep will contact you with additional travel paperwork to confirm your delivery date, hotel dates, and transportation if you need it. You show up at the Performance Center (either on your own or via the Marriott shuttle) at 8am. For 20min or so is a classroom session going over the basics along with what you're going to be doing for the day. I was part of a large group so they split us up. After the classroom session you go outside and get in a car that's as close to what you purchased as they can get. You'll do high speed breaking, auto-cross, and skid pad (in the instructor's car) before heading across the street to the plant (in an X5) to see how the X's are built. The factory is closed to public tours but open for PCD participants so that was nice. After the factory tour we drove the X5s on the off-road course and then had lunch. My delivery was after lunch and you spend 1-1.5hrs with a delivery professional in a 1-1 session.

I'm in Columbia, SC and the hardest part was knowing that my car was sitting in Greer (~1.5hr away) for 3 weeks waiting on my delivery date.

I can't recommend it highly enough and would love to be able to do it again.

My dealer was out of state so I had about 3 weeks between paperwork sent to me , sent back and processed and then PCD date. Only issue i had was the lease paperwork states the date they sent the papers out to me. But apparently is the only way to do it, one downside of the out of state deal. But other than that great experience.

I signed the paperwork and picked up temporary tags/registration about a week before picking the car up.
