Interesting. In another thread, someone said their car showed a carrier assignment to the dealership even though they still had a stop sale. BMW told him that the carrier is just a placeholder, if there is still a stop sale, it won't get transported to the dealer.

It will be interesting to see if your car really makes it to the dealership on Oct 15th.

I have been watching the dock webcam and watching activity at the VPC. One car carrier left loaded with vehicles and another carrier is being loaded. I see cars being moved from the ship offloading parking lot to the VPC building, so there is activity on Columbus Day holiday. Retired people have nothing more exciting to do than to watch a VPC dock webcam on Columbus Day.

Called Genius just now and they said my car will leave the VPC on the 14th and will be at the dealership on the 15th. The stop sale hasn't been resolved yet, but they estimated it should be by the 14th. Fingers crossed!

Looks like half of the cars offloaded last week from the Polaris Highway have been processed at the Galveston VPC. Progress.

Very nice. I might get my car delivered to the dealership on the 15th afterall. A work order was created today to fix the RAM module.

So 3 of us at least have been assigned a carrier to our dealerships on the 14th. We'll see if our cars are fixed by then. BMW told me today that the Oct 14th might just be a placeholder and she has no idea if the parts are even at the VPC.

It sure is a mix bag, some reps say one thing others say another. The stories rarely lines up. I'm going to be optimistic and hope for the best. My dealer is anticipating the car this week as well.

Interesting. Mine says they have "no info"!

While we all wait for our cars to arrive, do you all have a list of mods you want to do as soon as you get the car?

Here is my list...

- Remus race catback exhaust (will have to delete secondary cats from a muffler shop). Second option is valvetronic full catback exhaust, it's being released this week from what I heard will listen to sound clip then decide between Remus or valvetronic.
- Spacers
- Lowering Springs
- Floating wheel center caps
- Tint
- Full PPF
- Ceramic coating interior and exterior
- Door projector
- Stud conversion
- Front splitter
- Air intake

Wow, quite a list. I'm not really a mod guy, but I'm probably going to get full ppf, and definitely at least getting tint.

My mods are mostly cosmetic except for exhaust and intake. I have never tuned any of my cars, I like to keep my warranty and engine intact. The new M3 has ample of power and that's sufficient for me. I won't be breaking any records.

I believe there’s already a door projector that shows lines when you open the door - or are you looking for a different one?

I was looking for the M Performance ones or maybe where it says M3.

I think it's the 50mm based on IND's website. I dunno they were actually a birthday wishlist item (thanks fiancé for supporting my bmw addictions). Should be these ones from the IND page. I think the get BMW website was a few bucks cheaper though and had seen a link posted on the forum.

https://ind-distribution.com/product...light-kit-50mm

Edit: confirmed the sku number of the 50mm matches the sku number for the 50mm on the get bmw parts website but haven't installed them so don't quote me that those are the correct ones.

Vehicle deliveries from the Galveston VPC to dealers are looking good for arrival at dealerships today thru Friday.

The entire ship offloading parking lot is now empty and processed cars are queued up in the car carrier loading area. Multiple car carriers have been loading up this afternoon. There are probably some cars still being processed inside the VPC building.
