Starting a thread for week 44 builds (10/31/21 - 11/6/21)

Any other very recent allocations around? I saw a couple people posting in other threads that they are 44s as well.

My build:
-6MT
-Portimao Blue Metallic over Fiona Red full merino
-826M black wheels
-M carbon bucket seats
-Carbon exterior package
-Carbon fiber interior trim
-Standard brakes, red calipers
-Laser lights
-Extended shadowline trim
-M drive pro
-Executive package
-Parking assistance package

Currently status 111

@Wyndi335l I believe scheduled for production is 112 status. I’m still in order received (111)

Yep, I am 11 right now and finally got up the nerve to call genius and she said week 43 start production. If I get it before Christmas, I will be happy.

Yep, I am 11 right now and finally got up the nerve to call genius and she said week 43 start production. If I get it before Christmas, I will be happy.

Guess you won't be parked here anymore. Don't forget us week 44 brothers

Thursday 9/2 was when the order was put in with the inventory manager

Sept 4 th - the dealership only had a build slot for an M4 … sales manager swapped spots with another dealership for an M3

The production number basically ensures that your order is actually accepted by the plant in Germany. Some dealers will take your order and tell you a certain timeframe without actually having an allocation for a build on hand. When they do this, your build sheet will not have a production number on it. Once you have a production number, you can call Genius and ask what week you are scheduled for.

My build got delayed from week 37 to week 44 so I wanted to check in here!

I was just informed by Genius that the only components affected by the current chip shortages are the Harmon Kardon sound system, lumbar support control, ventilated seats, and passenger seat extension control. Based on "insider info" from one of the other build week threads, BMW is prioritizing production of high end models like M cars over standard vehicles, so I'm guessing our cars will not be left hanging without sound systems.

They did tell me that some people will have affected options removed from their builds and have the money credited back to them, but all these options only apply to the standard seats. so it seems like if you ordered carbon buckets all your options are safe from the chip shortages
