My M4C just moved to transit. I called BMW and my car is on DIONYSOS LEADER ship and the ETA to Los Angeles is October 22.

Ship just arrived in Baltimore. Headed to VPC in a day or 2. My SA said that she had a stop sale M3 last month and it was only delayed by a week. Hoping this is true.

Thanks bro. I think it is all about timing on the shipping. My car went in transit sooner than I expected mainly because the Donington's schedule agreed with my timeline. Praying that all 36 weeker get their cars the soonest.

My car was loaded onto the Elektra, a WW ship. If I remember correctly, it left Sept 26 and is supposed to get to NYC October 8th. It has a stupid stop sale for the audio module. Final delivery depends on the availability of the part, another unknown!

Just got off the line with Genius. My M4 is now at the Baltimore VPC BUT he could not tell me if there is still a stop sale on it and said that he does not have access to that info. Something goofy is happening and I think BMW USA has decided to stop sharing info. I think even the BMW UK tool is not working at the moment.

I think there is some confusion between calling a Genius (mostly for product info/tech support) and calling BMW customer relations. See below from another post. Try calling BMW customer relations.

There is the Genius line in which you press 0 after calling this number: 844-443-6487

Then there is customer relations: 1-800-831-1117 in which I just say "customer relations" then "vehicle" after their automessage start. You can also reach them by pressing "1" after calling the Genius line and slogging through the automated system.

They say they use the same tracking system but one customer relations told me they see more from the CA side of tracking while Genius is a bit more restricted.

Just got off the phone with that other customer relations number and you are correct that they have more access. She said that they have been working on my car for two business days now but could not tell on which issue, camera or radio. She advised that since the car is "so close" to delivery to the dealership that I contact my CA for updates. I asked if there is a stop sale on it and she said she is not seeing so. I am not sure about this but expecting the worse and hoping for the best. Nothing concrete really came out of the convo but that second number is definitely better.

I think the secret is out there now, of this better number to call. I tried it about an hour ago. Automated message told me they were experiencing higher than normal call volume, and that there were 43 people waiting in front of me...

Not a great day to be in BMW customer relations, I guess...

My car got into port in Oxnard on Friday, and cleared the RAM item the next day and now shows on a truck heading for the dealer. My dealer said they got a bunch of parts in and flew 30 people in from Germany to do the work in Oxnard and that they are clearing around 90 cars a day. This all sounds like a massive improvement over the past couple months...

Thanks for the update. Seems like they are prioritizing the bigger markets. I am located in the Midwest. Anyways, my M4 has been in the Baltimore VPC for 20 days now because of the RAM and CAM issues. No ETA yet per my convo with BMW customer service. The only thing preventing me from cancelling this order is my relationship with my dealer.
