Keep us updated on your status because mine has been stuck in the path booth for over a week and it's a standard color (PB) and no other special options (no parking assist, etc.)

Must be nice, guys. Im supposed to be week 31, and my car is still at 150 status. Not sure what week I belong in, now. Even some of you guys are already in paint. I dont even have a car, yet. Called Genius, car went into 150 status on 7/29 and is supposed to be completed on 8/25. But nothing has happened in 14 days, since 150. Holdups could be Dravit Gray paint, and possibly CCBs. No Carbon seats, or even exterior carbon package.

I called Genius, today, and was able to confirm what KnightedBMW said in the week 31 thread. Im build week 34, for sure. Car is supposed to start moving on the 16th. Not sure why Ive called 3 other times, and still been told my car was on track, for build week 31, and there were no delays? Either way. Im glad to have a confirmed start date of 16 August. Car will be built 16-20 August.

That said though, she was having systems issues, and even had to ask someone else to confirm the color. I'll call back tomorrow during more regular hours and see if I can get a better update.

It's been two weeks since I went into Production begins, and i'm still there. So I called today and was told the car is still scheduled to be completed in week 34th, which was the same production week they told me back in early July (post moving from week 27 that is).

Week 34 is the 22nd to the 29th, so i'm assuming it's going to start to change status shortly.

Nothing. Ive been in 150 status, since 7/29. Im told week 34, but nothing has changed in 20 days. I called, Genius, yesterday, they told me production was from 16-20th. And the tracker still hasnt updated. Final completion date is supposed to be 8/25. Still waiting for any kind of update.

Same as you guys. Been in production started for 16 days, but called and they confirmed it’s targeted for completion by the 29th, which could be week 35 now, but either is soon.

Since the tracker hasn’t moved and the estimated completion date is Aug 23, which is Monday, and assuming the factory is closed over the weekend - the car should be done I’m assuming…(*fingers crossed*)

Moved from week 31 to 34, now status 150 since the 5th of August. Here in the Netherlands the 3 series and M3 are still delivered at dealerships without camera’s. So I expect more delay when the car is finally at the dealership

I still think the factory is closed for 2 weeks. There just hasnt been any movement. I think the 9th through the 20th. But thats just me.

I think you're right. There are no week 32 or 33 build week threads. One poster claimed to have a week 32, but no follow-up posts and no one else chimed in.

I was originally told by the dealer, that my car was a week 31 allocation. I spec'd the car on 7/14, and it was accepted for production (112), later that same day. 7/29 it went to 150 status, and I was assigned a VIN, and nothing has moved, since then. Now calling Genius, my car has a completion date of 8/25. Genius told me the car was in the computer to be built 7/16-7/20. I havent had a status update, since 7/29. Its now been 24 days in one status. I really believe that the factory is either closed, or they are working with a skeleton crew, from 8/9-8/20

Build week is supposed to be the week it's completed, so you're on schedule even if its stalled

Interesting to hear that there are no week 32-33 build threads, though. I didnt even notice that. I just want my tracker to move. I dont care if I get my car until October, which its probably going to be like that, because the ship has to come all the way to the west coast, I just want to see the tracker move, like once a week would even be nice. Id like to see some progress.

It will. I think your theory explains why it stalled. We'll see what happens this week. I'm hoping my week 35 build goes to 150.

According to Genius, 8/25 is my absolute completion date. Genius made it sound like, contractually, the car had to be completed by then, at the latest. So, if nothing happens, until 8/25, it will be interesting to see what happens if it doesnt move by that date. I mean, if the car "must" be completed, you would think the tracker would have advanced through paint, and all of that. But we will see.

Yeah, you would think. It sounds like the tracker isn't very reliable and/or a few days behind. The Genius telling you 8/25 is a good sign! Focus on that. Gas tank half full!
