Have not been Austin Landing for that. Have you've been up to mid Ohio for bmw days? Did not track my f80, but would like to track the g80.

I agree - I hardly ever see another M around Dayton. Heck I hardly even see x35 or x40's (335, 440, etc). 90% of the BMW's I see have only have the 2 tailpipes on the left side of the car. I always think the likelihood that another BMW driver will actually notice me next to them is directly related to the number and placement of the tailpipes on their car. Some people are just happy to have a Roundel on their car and have no further interest past that.

Great idea! Was just Surfing thru before bed but I will hop on laptop in the morning and create a list in my first post.

Does anyone know what they do differently with the custom colors? Since they don't batch paint colors with the regular colors I don't understand why they can't/don't just put the custom color in the sprayers when a custom order goes through the line vs apparently taking the car to an entirely different place to paint. And thus why they can't do custom colors on the X vehicles made in SC.

They actually can as of very recently! More and more X vehicles are showing up with individual colors over on their forums. When I did PCD with my dad for his G82 in March they told us they are testing the custom colors being shot right through the same sprayers as the off the shelf colors.

Interesting. I asked about it during the factory tour on my PCD and the woman said they weren't doing them yet. It would be cool if they do.

Nice! I think that's 3 of us with Santorini now. All quite far apart. Lots of Silverstone interiors. I'm second-guessing my plan for a Fjord blue interior. The Individual Visualizer doesn't support the individual interiors as far as I can tell, so it is difficult to visualize if thats too much blue or the right choice with my "blue, black, and carbon" everywhere theme.

So I placed an order for an individual Mexico Blue M3comp through my dealer, got an allocation, and am now status 111. The dealer sent me the spec sheet and it shows Aventurine Red, not Mexico Blue. All other options are correct. This seems like a problem... What do you make of this?

If I remember correct the initial spec sheet had a placeholder color. Clarify it with them to be sure, but it didn't list my custom color originally

Yup. Mine was placed with Portimao until I got my voodoo blue approved. When that happened the online car tracker updated to a grey M3 and noted "special order color" on it.
From what I gather, it will update again when it get closer to production.
I'm sitting in status of
"ORDER RECEIVED

I'm currently in a status of scheduled for production and showing AW as my color selection with all other options correct for my build. Been that way for about 6 days now so hopefully it flips over to Special Color soon. Making me nervous though, don't want it to flip to a 150 status as AW! 😬
