Anyone else's shift assist not working with a Clutch Stop?

I saw a thread with a few posts that touched on this topic but wanted to revisit it.

I have a BMS Clutch stop with all rings installed. My car only engages the shift assist and blips the throttle maybe 5% of the time. For whatever reason, the shift assist seems to be triggered by a full depression of the clutch. That makes little sense to me, as most times with a "high grabbing" clutch, fully depressing the clutch is unnecessary and a waste of time when driving aggressively.

Most times I drive with shift assist off so removing the clutch stop isn't a worthwhile option.

No issues here, and I have kept most (if not all) of the washers on.

I ran the clutch stop with all three rings for about six months. Most of the time it was fine, but every once in a while it just felt less than happy. I pulled it to see if I could acclimate to the clutch with stock travel (which was NOT easy...that thing did not want to come out...also, I'm wimpy).

I just didn't like the way everything felt stock, but rather than put the clutch stop back in (or buying a new one since it was pretty beat up from my removal efforts), I put a strip of rather thick, fluffy industrial-strength Velcro over the stock clutch stop (such as it is) and it's absolutely dandy.

I bought a BMS clutch stop,

but didn't like how tight the "Christmas" tree limbs were going into the hole. So I re-installed the OE white rubber piece and then used industrial strength double-sided tape to glue a 1/2" thick piece of hard rubber (About an inch square) to the flat area on the clutch arm that lines up w/ the clutch stop.

Presto. Works like a charm, and the auto blip feature works just fine too.

The shaft of the BMS clutch stop is too tight IMHO, but obviously that won't mess w/ the auto blip feature. I'd remove one of the donut rings and see how that works.

tried for about a week and threw it in the glove box whre it still sits. I 100% become acclimated after a few thousand miles... I simply find myself using about a 1/3 of the travel, and am yet to miss a shift or have a problem. What scared me about the rev match working & not working at random is that we're obviously F'ing with that electronic sensor's threshold. Didn't seem worth it to me at the end of the day.

I've had the clutch stop on with all washers for about 4 months. Never an issue with auto blip but I have ground the gears twice on really hard acceleration shifting super fast into 2nd gear. Talked to moproblems at a car show a couple of months ago and he said he took his out due to the same issue. I have heard others saying that this transmission does not like to be hurried and I have adjusted my style so I don't grind gears but it does take away some of the joy of really ripping it because I'm trying to be mindful. I may take it off and try something different eventually but I don't like the long travel in the pedal.

So weird. I literally never get auto blips lol.

The stranger thing is the rev match worked for sh*t on my 2016 F80 as well. In efficient and sport it was inconsistent, and sometimes it would actually blip in sport +.

So I did end up removing the stop and the CDV. Honestly the stop really isn't needed and I don't miss it. I do still end up cludging the 1/2 when doing it fast but I chock that up to me not going for the clutch early enough. However I do screw it up much less often.

I removed mine.. I would only get the blips about 50% of the time and my OCD couldn't handle it.
