Maybe thats why they have multiple levels of adjustment in a car. Would have loved to get slowed down with cooled seats in my M-88.

But I was just a sergeant & worked for a living so what did I know.

Vented seats are very comfortable IMO. Agree that I would not order the car without them.

As far as their effectiveness goes, they are marginal. If you compare them to GM products (Yukon, Sierra, etc) or my Ram 2500 which are actually cooled you will understand.

If the seats have been in the sun while the car was parked it will take a while for them to cool down. Most effective way that I have found to cool them off is to use the remote start a few minutes prior to leaving and make sure your seat cooling is on.

Serious though, I live in a hot humid area in northern Australia and ventilated seats are amazing on long drives. Makes the entire trip just feel more comfortable.

Before ordering I also sat in a car with and a car without ventilated seats and could not tell the difference when it comes to comfort to be honest.

Difference is Australia is the cost of this option. $1259.00 plus taxes to a total of $1800.00 Aussie dollars thanks to the luxury car tax Australia has. So so so pricey here.

Agree, Use remote start a lot to set interior comfort. Another one of those things you don't appreciate till you have it.

I enjoy them on mine. It's better than not having them, that's for sure.

I do find it odd that you can have half the seat heats and half cooled - the buttons should be separate. I also find it odd that each time you adjust the seats temp, the display pops up on idrive, blocking the view of the screen.
