Week 40 Builds...

Moved to scheduled for production yesterday, called genius and they confirmed week 40.

This is after I had previously moved to schedule for production with week 38, and then moved back to order received. Hopefully not getting delayed again.

Likely stuck in scheduled for production until the production week. I've been in scheduled for production since August 4th and I'm a week 39 build.

i noticed quite a few people moved into "scheduled for prod". Next week should be telling...

I also went from scheduled for production and moved back to order received about 2 weeks ago..but then yesterday went back to scheduled for production.

I called genius line last month @8/10/21 and was temporarily scheduled for week 38, I called yesterday 9/10 after noticing it was moved to scheduled for production and was told it is now scheduled for week 40 production build.

Maybe the "scheduled for production" means they're now sorting all the vehicles and whichever is a basic build, will be built first?????

Sorry i know this is most likely not true but i wanna believe that to keep my hopes up

I have been confirmed for week 40 build. I am here In Germany 🇩🇪 so I will let everyone know any updates I receive. Can’t even sleep 😴. I try everyday not to think about it

They build their most profitable cars first due to the chip shortage

Sorry man….a ton of week 40 folks went to 112 last week? Curious though, what is your build like? I'd like to see if there are particular options that are causing issues.

At least you only got pushed 2 weeks. I was originally week 35, and got bumped 5 weeks

is there any way to check the order status my own (without calling the dealer) with my production number for EU delivery?

I've tried also with the BMW NA site track feature... but it doesn't work (probably because mine is EU Spec)

I have tried the customer care hotline but they said that the dealer has all the information and I should contact them. However, that was BMW Poland maybe BMW Italy would be more helpful so why don't you give it a try?

Yeah i've already tried and they gave me everything. But I really would like to know if there's the possibility to avoid calling them and check the status my own whenever I want.

I think that for the EU customer's, it's not available a tool like for the rest of the markets.

In the UK we can use the Genius live chat on the www.bmw.co.uk website to check the status, this is what I do on a daily basis (sad I know
