I test drove a g80 with the carbon seats on Saturday. Getting in and out was a pain, it was a 20 min drive and felt great when I was moving. However the car was an auto and I drive a manual. I'm waiting to test drive it with the manual to see how my feels. My initial thought is to pass on the seats if I order a g80. But they look so darn amazing.

Honestly. I just bought one with Bucket seat and they are comfortable. getting in and out, you just have to get use to. If you not overweight. you should not have any problem. I love mine. and my wife also have no problem with leg crossing etc. she love the seat.

I found the middle cf bump rubs my right leg when I change position to step on the brakes no matter how I adjust the seat. Will take time to get used to this.
Other wise it in comfortable and a good fit.

Has anyone confirmed that the middle hump can be removed? Is there a anti-sub attachment point under the seat?

The CF cover can be removed. The bump itself will still be there.

Getting in I guess you can sink your torso into it and move legs after, but getting out takes bit of lower body strength to lift yourself out.

But once you are in, the seat is very comfortable. Side bolster hugs you but in loosest settings I didn't find them overly tight. Being unable to move your legs out as much would be the main limiting factor on long trips. I didn't find the carbon nut holder bothersome, but maybe I wasn't excited enough to see the car this morning

I use seat Setting 1 for my driving position and seat Setting 2 for Ingress and Egress.

Is there any sub attachment point below. Or are we just dreaming about a multi-point option?

I don't have my car yet so don't have a clear answer. I haven't seen photos good enough without the CF piece to be able to tell.

I haven't sat in one so hard to be sure but the Carbon piece appears to be too far forward to be a harness sub strap pass through.
If there is a 5/6 point harness slot it would be further back under the seat pad I would expect.

TY. Please let us know, waiting on this (and assuming it's a no).

I'm assuming it's a no, but one can hope...

Extremely comfy once in the seat but getting out was tough. They look absolutely amazing. I'm 5'9 170lbs and in shape. I think anyone bigger will feel like they need the jaws of life to get out I'd pass on seats and add carbon exterior package.

That would be AWESOME!

If there is provision for a sub strap there will be a hefty looking bar below the seat that goes from side to side below the carbon hump. I've been refreshing Realoem over and over waiting on the g8x parts to show.

This is what under the seat looks like is this what you're looking for ?

Also doesn't seem like the "banana holder " is removable

That was exactly what I was looking for. There might still be hope. You're awesome for grabbing that pic!

Yes, the bump is the tricky part.

6’2” - 200lbs…tried the buckets today and they fit like a glove. Getting in and out is a pain, but I’ll manage. Should be fine for any trips less than 2 hours.

I was considering ordering the carbon bucket seats with my G83 ZCP, but I will not now after spending some time in the actual seat. Not practicable in my opinion.
This color is the reason I went with Full black interior as the yellow stripe on the edges (Alcantara) will start turning black from rubbing against the belt. I sat in an M4 with the same seats and color.

Now to the seats, I love them but I would not order them for a daily driver (My daily is a Rav4). It takes some time to get the hang of them especially the getting in and out part. I'm 5'11", 250ish and feel comfy in them. I have pretty thick thighs and them suckers get bunched up pretty well. The center part doesn't bother me as much. But again, these seats depend on personal preferences of the owner. At the end of the day if anyone wants to order them, he/she needs to definitely try them first.

That may be true if and only if said organ is in a state of rest; however, if it's not, certain discomforting inconveniences may arise.
